I have already written a review about the process but, for us, it was an easy process. There were glitches along the way but the Lundstroms included us in every part of the process so we were able to have our say about everything. It felt like a true partnership between homeowner and builder and that is why we will use them again. From projections to final numbers, we found them to be honest and on-budget unless we chose to go outside of the budget for something and we knew up front that it would be more than the projected amount. There were no bad surprises during this process which is unusual for building a 4,000 s.f. house.

Overall, it has gone a hundred times better than I had dreamed and I adore our house. As a first timer, we had lots of people bringing their house building horror stories to us but this has not been our experience. The house is solid and everything is level and moldings are straight and beautiful. The quality of the work is remarkable. This builder is straight-forward, answers questions immediately and responds quickly to any concerns we might have. The quality of the people who work on the Lundstrom crew is just terrific from the electricians to the painters to the tile installers. Across the board, we have had positive experiences. It is too bad we are building such a beautiful house that we will stay in for a while because I would take on this experience with this company, Lundstrom Development, again in a heartbeat.
