LH Flooring

Lucas Herrera started the job but did not complete it. Don't waste your time or Money! We have missing moldings in our house and our living room floor is lifting up. We have been trying to get in contact with him since May 2024 and he refuses to answer our call, messages and emails. We even tried calling him from another phone number and as soon as he heard who we were he hung up on us. We paid him in full, treated him well and he repaid us by not completing the job. If you look at the other reviews you will see this is a constant trend of Lucas Herrera. He has no work integrity, and I would not recommend or hire him again.

Wont come back to fix the mistakes , won't answer phone calls

Lucas did 2 jobs for me. Both times he did not complete the job and one time left all his scraps for me to clean up. After receiving his money, he does not respond to calls and does not follow up. His initial work was not done correctly and had to be redone.

Don't pay anything until the work is completed satisfactorily. It took a month with no satisfaction and then the threat of calling "myfla.gov" and the BBB to get them to return.

I interviewed several companies for a new vinyl floor install. Lucas was very fair, efficient and professional. The floors look fantastic!

When Lucas installed the LVP flooring, we were very pleased at first. After two short years, however, it started splintering. I called him to look at it, which he did, and he even told me he would replace the pieces in disrepair. The problem was, that never happened and he never returned any of my calls or texts. I would not recommend him!

Fantastic!!! Lucas is a skilled installer but more importantly, he talks you through your project so there are no surprises. He patiently answered all of my questions and when it was time to begin the project he was finished in 2.5 days! Hire him!!!

Lucas is the most skilled, helpful and patient flooring contractor I have ever hired! He is so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the entire renovation process. His team of helpers are also talented and knowledgeable. Hire him !!!!

LH Flooring began installing our new floors on Monday, November 21, 2022. To date, they have not completed the job. Chipped many pieces of flooring during installation. Installed the flooring so tight in places that the flooring buckled. Shared our concerns with the owner. He sent one of his crew out twice and still did not complete the job. Owner texted us on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 and said he would be there on Monday, February 27, 2023. He never came and we have not heard from him since.

**AFTER PROJECT UPDATES** I gave Lucas and LH flooring a 5 star rating about 1 week ago following our installation process. As previously stated, the installation process and communication was seamless. However, once we went to put our closet doors back on, they would not fit as the floor now sat too high. I repeatedly reached out to Lucas who said he would stop by to fix it, but we have not heard from him again. It is very disappointing because we will now have to pay someone else to fix what LH Flooring should have done in the first place (i.e. ensure closet doors will still fit). I no longer recommend LH Flooring.

They gave a fair price and were very good and quick!

Edited after project: I am leaving my initial positive review as a reference so future homeowners can reference. Initially we had a great experience with Lucas and LH floors and installation of whole home luxury plank vinyl. After they completed the job and we moved in we noticed several areas where the floors were not installed properly. The floors are uneven and buckling. I reached out to Lucas and he immediately responded that he would come by in 5 days to take a look. Then we never heard from him again. After repeated calls and messages to inquire about getting this resolved he never responded again after that. We are so disappointed in the unprofessionalism and that he will not stand behind his work. It is especially disappointing because we had such a great experience with the installation process. Now we are going to have to hire a 2nd company to come in and repair the poor workmanship. I would not use this company again due to this. Lucas was incredible and a dream to work with. What a breath of fresh air. He was responsive, competitively priced, he followed through on everything, started on time and finished early. I cannot recommend him and LH enough, and our floors are gorgeous!

Lucas was great. He was responsive, provided a great price and was very easy to work with. The price was excellent, the quality of the work top notch and he finished when he said he would at the price he quoted (a rare thing among contractors). I would highly recommend him and would use him again in the future. Anyone coming across this review should give him a call....you'll be happy you did!

Lucas was exceptional. He removed old tile from our condo and installed LVP. We were so pleased with the end result. He was so professional and did the job so quickly we were amazed. I would not hesitate to recommend him to all of my friends and family.
