No insurance appraisals for damage from Hurricane Ian! **PLEASE NOTE** If you are looking for an appraisal to refinance your home or are looking for an appraisal to purchase a home, or for any other federally related transactions and you are attempting to use the appraisal for financing, the bank MUST order the appraisal (through a vendor) and you CANNOT use a personal appraisal (provided by myself or any other appraiser) for any federally related transactions. So PLEASE do not personally order an appraisal if this is for the purpose of any sort of mortgage as the bank WILL NOT accept the appraisal (and you will end up having to pay for 2 appraisals..both my appraisal and the banks!!)
