The plumbing was kind of half done. I had to fix it, so they didn't really complete what they said they were going to complete. Electrically, they had fixed a couple of things we asked them to but it ended up costing more than their estimate was at the end of the day, to do the same work they had estimated. I think we had monetary scope creep-age, if you will, where they decided it's gonna cost more after they got into it. So they didn't estimate very well how much it was going to cost. 

As I said, their estimates were not as good as I had hoped and their ability to complete the work was questionable at times. We asked them to move a light switch, for instance, and they gave us a lot of push back about how it was going to be hard for them to do. I know, I have relocated a lot of light switches and you have to go thru a lot of exterior walls and all the rest of it to do it, but it can be done. I got the impression that we were not giving them enough work, and that it wasn't a big enough job for them to really pay attention to. If I had to do it again, I'd probably find somebody else to do those things for me.

I asked them to do a couple of things and they did it. I only had to ask them to come back two times basically, and they wandered around trying to figure out how to do it. They showed up whenever they were supposed to. I would probably look elsewhere before using them again.

Pulled lamp post apart , looked at switch in house and outdoor outlet, said need a new wire to run from house to lamp. Also need a new outlet outside, which worked before he came!! he stuck a tool in there to blow, then charged me!! To come out charge 159.00 then40.00 an hour after. He charged me 40.00 for new outlet he blew.. To make up the 40.00 bc didn't have him do the lamp work!! Scam!!

Office staff was very friendly. Service agent was professional and knowledgeable. Educated me on my water heater and the circulator. Also, gave me tips on cost saving practices.

We got a great price on our heater with installation on a 50gal Rheem.
The work was done on time. The technician was friendly but not overly so, well-spoken, polite and best of all he left no mess!

I feel as though, the reviews I read must be for another company, but no.........This is my experience................... Long story short......I have had nothing but problems over the years and extreemly large power bills.....Jackson Total was servicing their work for years but the problems continued. Several other Air Conditioning companies have been consulted trying to get answers, .......there will be other reviews..........I wish every person reading this could see the photographs and hear the explaniation I received discribing the sloppy instalitaion. The air ducts run haphazardly through the attic, bends everywhere decreasing the flow, connecting areas partially unsealed, other areas, no attempt to seal. Between the up and down stairs many duct areas were left completely unsealed, thus, air conditioning quite well between the floors rather than in the house. No wonder the dog likes to lay on the hard floor. Can you imagine those areas cooler than the house? A forensic company was finally refered and hired. All the problems are being uncovered. One unit is completely unsalvageable. The second died and replaced several years ago. Because of the mess in the attic the life of that unit is in question as well. The rough estimate so far to clean up the mess in the attic and duct work between the floors is in the neighborhood of $60,000. They have to completely remove all duct work in the attic, rip into the ceiling on the ground floor living room, dinning room, entry, kitchen, family room and 2 half baths. I paid Jackson Total about $25,000, I expected it to be installed correctly and work efficiently more than 7 years. You would think a company of Jackson's reputation could install two air conditioning systems with a clean slate correctly! It should NOT be costing me $60 some thousand dollars to replace a system they installed.

Our water heater was not consistantly heating. We called Jackson's. The receptionist was very helpful, and verified for us that the heater was still under warranty. The parts would be covered, we would pay for service. They were here the same day, effectively and efficiently took care of the problem. Would highly recommend this company.

Lynn answered my initial call and was very helpful. Electrician was 1.5 hrs late, but once he arrived Andrew was great. Very professional, resolved the issue quickly. Highly recommended.

I have had a service agreement for the maintenance of my a/c system for years with Jackson Total Service. So, although I called around when I needed to replace my entire system, I really was most comfortable with the company I have always known to be reliable, professional, and to do top quality work.
Mike Ringo was great. He even came out after 6 pm on a Friday to check the system and do an estimate, rather than put it off until Monday. He explained everything to me in detail, laid out all my options, and even explained some potential problems with installations that no other company had mentioned. His crew was here first thing Monday morning. They were professional and very courteous. The job took less time than I thought it would, and the new system was operational before 3 pm.
Because of the energy incentives from FPL and my loyalty discount for having a service agreement with them, I was able to get a 16 SEER system for only a few dollars more than the 13 SEER system would have cost.
Overall, this was a pain-free operation, or at least as pain-free as spending $5000 can be, but the upgraded system should pay off in energy savings as well.

Jackson Total Service was very cooperative in scheduling the three different service technicians we needed to address the inspection list items. They were able to schedule two at the same time, minimizing my time away from work. I appreciated this. They were prompt and immediately took care of the items on the list, explaining what they were doing and why it was needed. The service techs were polite and clean and careful with my condo. They removed shoes or covered them so as not to dirty the carpet. They cleaned up after themselves and replaced any furniture they had to move to do their work. I was quite pleased with their work and would hire them again.

The office called to confirm that the technician was on the way to my residence, and he arrived ahortly thereafter; he asked to use the water to mix the cleansing agent for the condensation tray and lines and then proceeded to check the outside condensor and fan. He informed me that my fire alarm was inoperative and gave me a price if I wanted Jackson to fix it.

The bathroom faucet was replaced and installed with ease. The plumber used the time remaining to check the plumbing fixtures throughout our unit, making minor adjustments on several fixtures. I was very satisfied with the plumber's expertise, professionalism and courtesy.

The electrician was pleasant, competent, clean and thorough. A very good experience.

They were excellent. I spent about $1,000 the last time I used them. They were very attentive. I have a pacemaker, so I am really afraid of electrical shots and things like that and they were extremely meticulous in what they do. They were very friendly, good and eager to make sure that everything was right. My mother was a real estate agent and she had a whole list of vendors and people that she would recommend and they were on that list. They were very neat, did good work and things worked. They did not leave a mess and they were careful about the paint, clean up and stuff like that. They seemed to be extremely trustworthy. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I have used this company many times before. They are very professional on the phone. The same man that installed the fans today had installed dining room and pendant lights last year. They are always very efficient.

We used to have a lot of rental properties and work of some sort used to come up all the time. We chose Jackson Total Service because they were honest and showed up when they were supposed to. We have been using them for a while and they are pretty good. They are specialists in air conditioning and furnace work. We were having a lot of problems with the duct work in one of our houses and they redid the whole thing. They got here the same day that we had called them. People can’t survive down in south Florida without air conditioning. We live in a fairly small town and we know who does good job and who doesn’t. We have used Jackson Total Service a lot of times and they have never disappointed us as far as getting out here on time.

The serviceman arrived on time, completed his work quickly and was informative.

We had already purchased two toilets and then contacted Jackson, they were able to send someone out the next day. After an initial miscommunication about when he would be there (closer to noon than to 9 a.m.) Darrin arrived and immediately started to work. He was courteous and professional and not only removed the old toilets but also the large boxes that the new toilets came in. There was one problem, one toilet was too tall to fit under the bathroom shelf, so it was greatly appreciated when Darrin calmly surveyed the situation and produced a jigsaw to cut out the perfect opening so the toilet would fit. He also took care with the caulking and cosmetic touches.
