He's probably the most fantastic builder that I've ever had a chance to deal with. We got him off of Angie's list as well. It went perfect with him. the man was here everyday. I don't know how to explain what he did. He even dug holes just to look and see what the dirt looks like before they started any construction. He provided us with a wonderful estimate with cost that's realistic, and he didn't miss a single nut or vault that would have to be in place. He actually noticed that the architect had not done exactly what we wanted. He worked with the architect to get that corrected. He explained everyday what was gonna happen. If he can't come, he would call and say what's going to happen, and make sure that everything was going well. He monitored every single step of the construction and the finished work. We did have some problems, but Jack was on top of it. It didn't cost us a thing. he was just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful builder, and I would highly recommend him. anyone in this area who's doing any type of additions or new constructions, he's been in the business in building homes down here for thirty five years. Jack is a little bit older than most. we interviewed six different builders. He tried to save money in every step of the way. He helped us find the people who would do all the things that we wanted done. the man was phenomenal.

He was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic! Jack is a maestro. He orchestrates all the trades, bringing them in at the right time and getting them out. He solved problems with the construction, resolving seemingly unsolvable issues.
Jack is always pleasant, never gets upset, and works as hard as any sub. He is a great advocate and works hard to keep costs down.

He came to look at everything and he was very nice, but he never sent me an estimate. He had me write down my email address and I may not have written it clearly because another contractor had to call me and verify my address. Jack Jacobsen was a very nice guy and he even took his shoes off when he came inside, but I never heard back from him. I'm thinking it was too small of a job for him. I might call him again if I had a bigger job.

I never did anything with kitchen remodeling. I haven't made any decision whether he is going to do the work or not. He was terrific. He showed up when he said he would show up. He brought his sub contractors out right away. He got me an estimate within the time frame he said. I haven't decided on doing the work. The estimate amount was around $12000 or $14000.

My house was basically gutted with some poor workmanship in progress when Jack was called in to replace my former contractor. What a difference Jack made in the experience. It turned from a nightmare-in-slow-motion to a project filled with energy and efficiency. As everyone else says, Jack is always accessible, punctual and on top of everything. And he's always in a good mood!! I'm so proud of the finished product and grateful to Jack for lifting the burden I was carrying and turning the remodel into - as he would say: "a piece of cake."

Jack was exceptional in every aspect of this project that lasted 7 days. He had the right subcontractors lined up and everyone showed up on time and worked till the end of each day. There were basically 3 crews: installers, stuccoers, painters. He was here daily to supervise the project and ensure that things were done correctly from start to finish. As with any project of this size, an unforseen event arose involving window size vs. window opening size on a few of the windows but Jack and his crew took it in stride, made the necessary modifications, and finished the job at the agreed upon price. Jack made things run smoothly and was flexible when we had to stop activity 5 days into the project for a visiting house guest. The area was cleaned up after the crews finished working. We have had several remodel projects done in the past here in Naples and in other cities we've lived in and none have gone as smoothly as this one. Jack is a professional who gets the job done, on time, at the agreed upon price and makes sure all the i's are dotted and all the t's are crossed My wife and I are exceedingly happy with the security and look of the new windows and with Jack Jacobsen's efforts in making this a successful remodel project.

Our experience with Jack was excellent. He was totally cooperative, always right on time, and a very courteous person to work with. I cannot possibly describe how great it was to work with Jack as a general contractor. He is top notch, always accessible, and he is always going above and beyond without the above and beyond pricetag.

Jack built the home I live in today as well as my last two homes. While the time to build was more than I was expecting (it was in the crazy days of 2005), the home is of excellent quality. An example of the quality that is a direct reflection of Jack's style is my second floor is wood framed and the windows could have been a source of leaks and mold. While the windows were being installed Jack came to me and said he thought we should have a barrior installed where the plywood attached to the wood frame structure thereby preventing leaks into my wall at some point in the future. It was not free to have these barriors installed but I was sure glad he brought it up and it only cost me a few hundred bucks to sleep well at nigth knowing we had done everything possible to prevent future leaks and problems. Jack personally inspeced my house several times per week to ensure quality construction. He made one sub tear down a wall and rebuild it until he was happy. I had not even noticed a problem. Jack is great to work with and he really knows his stuff.

The job was finished ahead of schedule, and on budget. The addition is seamless and the best comment I can give is that friends that have come to see the house cannot tell were the original home ended and the new addition begins. Jack was a pleasure to work with, professional and on the job site. Easily accessible. His subs love him and go the extra mile for Jack, any issues were solved immediately or by the following business day in a courteous and professional manner. Based on many years of home ownership in multiple locations I would recommend Jack whole heartedly to any one interested in having work done on their existing or new home.

Jack is very professional and straight forward. He gave lots of great advice as this was the first house we built. He was very honest and very consistent with quoting all of the costs including any extra work we added. We were also very short on time as we were renting while our home was being built and we could only rent for 5 months. Jack promised that he would have the house complete and he did all in just 5 months.

He's built 3 houses for my daughter. He's always there on a job, he's very conscientious. He doesn't just contract it out and then let it slide. He does small and large houses. He also does additions and renovations. All of it is custom building.
