Ed Ingold and his son Andrew were punctual and their prices are fair. They added five lights including two chandeliers and added seven fans and dimmers. They replaced a GFI switch also. We would recommend them to anyone that is looking for work to be done right..

Ed Ingold and his son, Andrew are a good team. All work performed on time and as requested at a fair price.  Excellent follow-up to replace the initial transformer which wasn't functioning properly.

Mr. Ingold and his son arrived on time, were very professional and installed all four fans in less than an hour. The price he charged was a fraction of what another electrician quoted on the job. He was very polite and answered several other electrical questions I had at no charge. I would definitely use Ingold again and recommend him to others

It did not go well. He was called to find the cause of lights and outlet power flickering in the house intermittently. While he did find a couple loose connections and replace an outlet, the problem persisted after his visit. He charged $75 for the service call plus parts and time of $52. He claimed that he inspected all places where the problem could be coming from. When I called to tell him after he left indicating the problem was still happening, he said I would have to pay another $75 service call plus time and parts for him to come back out to the house and look again. I paid Mr. Ingold for his one visit but called another Electrician near the top of the list. They came out and found loose wires as the source of the problem on their first visit. I felt Mr. Ingold should have given me some sort of concession on a second visit required when he failed to find and fix the problem I originally called him out to fix. However he insisted on billing me as if it was a first service call plus his full rate for all future time he would spend. I was left to keep paying him for trial and error visits each time regardless of whether it got fixed or not, or call someone else.

Ed was very good . He rewired a fixture that wasn't working. He was trustworthy , showed up on time and did fine work. I would definitely use him again.

The interaction we had with him was excellent. He was very professional. The job was completed very quickly and very timely. He came back to complete a repair in a timely fashion because he had to stop due to the weather; there was a bad storm in our area. He came back and took care of it right away. We were very pleased with him. We would use him again.
