Hunter Pools did a fine and thorough job when our pool wasn’t holding water. They found the two leaks and fixed them on the first day, then came back the next day to make sure the water level had not change and the leaks were properly fixed. The tech and the office personnel were pleasant and efficient, the tech showed up on time, the price charged was reasonable, the details of the work were clearly and completely described on their bill, and everything was handled in a professional manner. I was very satisfied with their work and would certainly hire Hunter again. I recommend them highly.

Their web site explained everything in detail even an estimate of the cost. I emailed them one evening & had a response at 5:24 am and a phone call at 9:00am. The work was done Tuesday. Excellent, professional company to do business with. I would highly recommend

Hunter called me back immediately. We set up a time for them to come out and they were very prompt. They found the issue quickly and replace the gasket that was causing the problem. The price was great and the service was fantastic. I'll use them for all my spa and pool repairs in the future. Thanks for doing such a great job and at a great price.

Communication was poor. Hunter failed to detect any leak and the service person failed to communicate with me, although i was readily available throughout the process, instead giving me a handwritten note. Ultimately i was sent an invoice for $234 indicating no lesk was detected or remedied. i politely responded that the price i was quoted was $199 and requested that i be sent a revised invoice. The response was that - because they detected no leak and no leak was remedied - that they were entitled to more than was quoted to compensate them for their "time". No overage was ever discussed or approved and the agreed amount for leak detection (and the only amount ever discussed) was a flat $199 rate absent approval for wuoted additional work. Putting aside the fact that they failed to remedy the problem, they intentionally misbilled me. i woukd have paid the $199 despite their failure to correct the issue until they insisted thatbthey were entitled to.more than what was quoted. $35 is inconsequential in the greater scheme, but the fact that the company feels entitled to bill a different amount than agreed to, did not remedy the issue, and had no communication is hugely problematic. Avoid!!!

"We swam and checked the pool thoroughly and found no leaks and set up a test over night. When the pool failed to leak we opted to check it running and make a return visit to confirm the pool performed the same when it was running as well as off. Since the pool was reported to leak we thought it would be best to confirm our initial diagnosis that it was not leaking. The fee for our additional trip was $45.00 which was not discussed at our initial phone conversation since there are no fountains or water falls in this pool which should not have made it leak when running. Unfortunately when the owner e-mailed me I requested him to reconsider his decision to not pay us for our time and he was offended. If we cannot make a pool leak we cannot repair it. If we did not proactively check his pool running and he had a problem he would have been calling back reporting he was unhappy at that point. So, unfortunately no matter how hard a company tries to do the right thing day in and day out there is always someone who will be unhappy. I am sorry that we will have to bear an F rating over a $45.00 discrepancy for doing what needed to be done and I am sorry that the tone of e-mail is often lost in translation. Had the communication occurred over the phone I am certain the owner would have felt less committed to his desire to trash us online and I find this equally unprofessional considering he is [Member Information Removed]"

Excellent--Hunter pools was easy to reach, scheduled an appointment quickly, came when they said they would, made the repair, and diagnosed and fixed another problem--all at a fair price. They also followed up when they said they would about another issue. Would absolutely recommend them and hire again.

Hunter Pools is fantastic! I had a leaky pool for over a year and a few other pool service companies had trouble resolving the issue before I found Hunter. In just one day they came out and replaced my skimmer. My pool is like new and holding water again.

Chip and his associate installed a fill line from the front of my building to the back of the pool cage. Their pricing was extremely reasonable and their professionalism outstanding. Chip took the time to explain the mechanics of they system to be and did an amazing job. You could not even tell they were here when done. I will definitely use them for any pool repairs or service I need in the future. I would not hesitate in recommending them to any of my friends. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys for your pool problems.

Repair person quickly identified the source of the problem, removed the pavers from the lanai to access the broken pipe, replaced the pipe with the flexible one, replaced the pavers. All done the same afternoon. Excellent work.

I have been struggling with an air leak in my pool system that prevented my ozonator from operating properly. I had two other companies come out to assess the issue for corrective action. One company made some minor "repairs" (used silicone caulk) that I had to fix while the other company gave me an estimate on doing a complete pool renovation and then doing the re-plumb.
While we need a complete renovation of the pool, pool deck and lanai, I only wanted to concentrate on this repair. I called Hunter Pools, spoke to Juile who set up an appointment to have the owner come assess the problem the same day. Chip came and quickly did the assessment, and informed me what he would do...quite frankly confirming what I thought needed to be done. He went back to his office and before the end of the day i got a follow up call from Julie giving me an estimate and set up an appointment for Chip to return the next day to do the job. Chip showed up when he was supposed, quickly did the job and corrected the problem...quick, efficient, very pleasant. My year long struggle with my system now worked as it was meant to. I would highly recommend Hunter Pools for their stellar customer service and their expertise. I received the bill for the work done-it was as was quoted...a welcome thing. I will use Hunter Pools again...it was actually a very enjoyable experience. GOOD JOB!!

Pool was losing around 2" of water per day. Called Hunter Pools based on Angie's List reviews. Julie provided excellent communication throughout. Service team arrived promptly, located problem and timely repaired the issue.

Unfortunately, my pool was losing 4" of water a day! Fortunately, Hunter Pools to the rescue. Co owner, Julie, explained that they were flooded with work and she would do the best she could. After crunching the schedule, an appointment was set. Their technician, Robert, arrived on time, (even a little early!) and was in the pool ASAP. He was very thorough and conscientious. Within a 1/2 hr he discovered the problem and began an immediate repair. He came by the next morning to check his work... All good. This is the second time that I have used Hunter for a leak problem (unrelated) and have recommended them to others, all with satisfying results.

The Initial service call is to perform test for obvious (and not so obvious) pool leaks. They establish a benchmark to determine extent of leak. Second visit was by owner and helper for more detailed testing. They discovered a leak in an underground skimmer line that proved very difficult to get to, as it was underneath a 16"x16" x 5' concrete slab. I say difficult, but not impossible for Hunter. The repair was performed perfectly and my problem was solved. I have since referred Hunter Pools to others with the same positive results.

certainly The team at Hunter's arr courteous, patient and committed to providing outstanding customer service. Their pricing for work is reasonable and fair. When an emergency, such as the leak, Hunter's responded within a few hours and stayed until the matter was completed. The grouting work was completed within short order of the original scheduled date. The office and onsite people were a pleasure to work with, dependable and honest.

They are very good. They went into the water in the middle of winter here, and the temperature of the water must have been in the high 50s. They did a good job. The price was within value. It was worth the money that we paid. The responsiveness was very good.

This company was excellent to work with. They were quick to return my original call, made an appointment rather expeditiously, came out and examined the pool for leaks, found issues which they repaired, then monitored for a bit to see if it took care of the problem. They were very responsive, did good work, and I had absolutely no issues with them at all. I will definitely use them again!

The only difficulty was that they are busy from time to time because they are the best, receiving referrals from pool maintenance companies across SW Florida that can't seem to handle leaks of this nature. It took two weeks to get them here in the busy post New Year time frame, but they were here and gone in an hour or two and didn't dally for a minute.
