Hessler Floor Covering

Excellent!  We went carpet shopping and Curt was very helpful in finding a carpet to meet our needs.
The job was scheduled in a timely manor and the two young men that installed the carpet did a great job.  They were on time and very careful moving our furniture.  They were professional and cleaned up before they moved the furniture back into the rooms.  Overall we are very pleased.  Hessler Floor Covering had the best price for the same carpet and installation that we found.

They were friendly and the work ended up being good, but it took a lot of work to get it that way. First they mismeasured the space, resulting in overpricing the job -- I had to show them my measurements to get them to correct that. Then when they "finished", the work was poorly and sloppily done by "one of their best guys". The good news is that they cheerfully came to look at the job and agreed with my assessment, and had the problematic work redone to my satisfaction. But both problems reflected a lack of proper oversight at the start -- I shouldn't have to do their work for them. Also, of course, it resulted in substantial delay, causing lost rent on a rental unit.

The experience went better than I expected. The staff at Hessler was professional and responsive. I needed a ASaturday installation and they accomodated me. The crew they sent did the installation on time and work above and beyound my expectation. The worked two full days and performed their work to the highest standards. They were neat and cleaned up after the install in all areas that they did their work, both inside and out. I would reccomend Hessler and thier install team without reservation.

I stopped at the store on a Wednesday, with a small piece of carpet that I needed to match the color for the bedroom. The salesman, Bud, was very helpful. He asked my budget for the carpet and proceeded to help me find the best match at the best price. He provided an estimate for installed carpet and sent me home with a sample of the carpet. When I returned the next day, he refigured my estimate in light of an installation special they'd just announced that morning. This brought the estimate down significantly and I ordered the carpet. He offered to call the warehouse and see if they could install the next Monday. They were and an installation appt was set. The installers arrived on time, without the carpet. Seems they had loaded the wrong carpet at the warehouse. They apologized, removed the old carpet and went to pick up the correct carpet. The returned later that morning and installed the carpet. Did a nice job with the installation. Left the room neat and vacuumed. I had removed all furniture except an empty futon frame as there was a charge for moving furniture. I would use Hessler again for flooring.
