HelloTech - Tech Support To Your Door

Just bought a new house and had a couple of TVs that needed to be mounted. I figured I would give HelloTech a try. It seemed like a cool concept. So I go online and schedule the service, which is relatively easy, and schedule the service for 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon. I get a follow-up email from HelloTech Customer Service that a technician has been assigned to my job, and will be at my house at 4 pm Thursday. Great, right? Not so much.... I arrange to get off work early and am driving home to meet the tech when I get a call from him at 3:34 pm. He does not have the mount for my large TV and would like to reschedule for the next day when he can get it. The tech makes up some excuse about how he has to special order a mount for a 70 inch TV, which you can go to Best Buy and get off the shelf. Anyways, I make HelloTech aware of the situation, and they say they will reschedule a tech. They follow up with an email that says the tech will arrive at 10 am the following day. Great, right? Not so much... After again arranging to be home from work, no one shows up at 10 am. At 10:37 am I call HelloTech, they say they will call the technician and get back to me. No call back. At 11:15 I call HelloTech back again, they tell me "they texted the technician but have not heard back." What? At that point, I just cancelled the order. Bottom line...don't waste your money, and more importantly your time with this company. Bad customer service, no accountability.
