I was not home when they first attempted to deliver the flowers, and I am in a gated community. They left a voicemail message and wanted to come back, but I was not going to be home. They asked for the combination to my security gate and offered to leave the flowers outside, but I thought it was much too warm to leave the flowers out. When they did finally deliver the flowers, the bouquet consisted of some daisies and a couple carnations. I would never tell the person who sent them to me what they looked like. Other people who saw the flowers remarked that they hoped never to receive such a bouquet. I expect that the sender spent around $50, which is much too high for the low quality of flowers.
