Told them no deal and I would come get the car. I then took it to an honest mechanic who blew out the tube for free (problem solved) and replaced a little switch under the brake pedal for $127.00. (Problem solved) this wasn’t the first time he’s had a problem with DeVoe but will be the last. Don’t use this garage.

Purchased a used Cadillac CTS from Mark Bennett. This was my second Cadillac purchased from DeVoe, but my first from Mark. He was ano-pressure salesperson, but he gave me a great price with a minimum of haggling. He was knowledgeable and very efficient in zeroing in on the exact cars that would appeal to us. He was also very speedy in getting the paper work and details done to our satisfaction. After the sale was completed, he continued to follow up with us in the succeeding days to make sure that every detail of the transaction and car was perfect. I have bought a lot of cars over the years, however this was by far the best experience. I cannot imagine better post-sale treatment of the customer.
Update: I have had my car serviced at DeVoe twice now. My service advisor, Gary Cox, has been very helpful and professional. He follows up with the service technicians to make sure the work is done correctly. With his supervision, my car has had excellent care!

I my 40+ years of owning cars, I have NEVER encountered such poor service from a dealer. I made an appointment to bring my car in at 10:00am on a Friday... when I did, after a long and painful check-in process (where the service writer kept being interrupted and disappeared several times while I waited) I was finally told "Oh, we won't get to this today... in fact, we may not get to it until Monday! We have 40 cars ahead of yours." Nobody had mentioned that when I made the appointment. After seeing my displeasure, he said "Leave it, and I'll see what I can do for you." Four hours later, he called to confirm that he could do nothing. A totally wasted day... I have a classic Caddy, and I wasn't about to leave it parked in their uncovered parking area for the weekend. I should have known better - two weeks earlier I had called to see if they still worked on a 1984 Caddy like mine... the service writer said "No." I asked, "Any idea where I should take it?" His answer: "AAMCO." I've written to the General Manager and the Service Manager about my whole experience and two weeks later have not heard a word back. I guess when you're the only dealer in town, you can treat customers like this.

I went to have the refix my car and they threw me off their property for I complained and told me they were going to contact the police. They even threw me off their property and brought me a glass of water and laughed.

It went very well. I did a lot of research before using them, and the deal I made with them was much superior compared to other dealerships. I have been using them for service for the last several years, and they have always done a great job.

They were always expensive. They were supposed to fix a cylinder problem and the emission system. They same problem occurred soon after they replaced the spark plugs and spark plug wires at another high additional charge. They contacted me and said they would make it right and I never heard from them again.
