The work looks top-notch. The guy can run a bead (weld)! But I had to lower the rating due to his communication skills and his attitude. Surly. I think that sums it up. Crabby, abrupt, and a bit arrogant. One of those crusty old guys who knows it all (which he probably does when it comes to mufflers) but comes across as a bit arrogant. I didn't go away feeling good about the transaction. It was as if he did me a big favor by replacing my muffler at the going rate. I guess he can still keep a good business going in Naples because he's the only shop in town that I found on Angie's list.

They're the most professional company I've used and there isn't a better muffler shop in the country. The owner is very experienced and really knows what he's doing. I would highly recommend them.

I have a car at Cookie's Life Muffler Center. It is an and lsquo;86 vintage Mustang convertible GT. The original gas tank bolts have rusted out. He's afraid that the gas tank is going to fall from the weight. He wanted to fix it before, I couldn't afford it, and he said he would lay out the money. I wouldn't let him do it. He's done that before and told me to pay when I can. I didn't know him when he did that. Previously, I had taken my car somewhere else and they told me I had serious problems with my car ,but, they couldn't fix it. I got quotes from three places, but, it was expensive. I chose him because his name is Cookie's. How bad can a car place be that's named Cookie's? He originally said he'd do it for $2800 which was $1000 less than anyone else. He said I might not want to waste my money on a car that old. I started to cry and told him that this was all I had left from my baby brother and it turns out he knew my brother. Now he treats me like family. I've noticed that everyone that goes in there gets a break. He's a decent, honest mechanic.
