Sellers selected Collier title to do the closing. From the beginning I found them difficult to work with. It often seemed all about how they were being inconvenienced to do work they were being paid for. We never asked them to perform extra work, but only made them aware of delays necessitating a delay in the closing date. These delays were caused by work being done in the home before closing could occur (mold had been found during the home inspection), and since since inspectors and several contractors were employed delays occurred. Being a cash purchase the delays should not cause NEW work for a title company. At closing the buyers request to wait a few minutes for their agent to arrive fell on deaf ears and the agent would not wait. The agent showed in 10 minutes to find all the paperwork was done, so its not like there was a lot of paperwork. The excitement a first time buyer was feeling were deflated greatly by the unprofessional approach of the title clerk (the owner) to accept this request. I would not use them again.
