I purchased an "Angie's List" special offer from Coastal Electric.  Boy!  What a bargain!  I am so happy I did it, because I now know of a great electrical contractor in my area.  My experience with Coastal Electric was nothing short of a pleasure from their first response to my request, right up until the tech drove out of my driveway when the job was done.
The unsightly light fixture he removed was very old, rusted and painted into the ceiling.  He was surprised to see the original old wiring.  Without complaint the tech went about removing it, and then very efficiently and neatly installed the new fixture.  Voila!  I have fabulous light in my laundry room.  As part of the deal he also replaced an exterior plug that wasn't working.  Love this guy!

Did not go well. He showed up at 7:40 AM to start and we agreed he would not arrive until 8:00. Was very specific about that when we meet initially. Installed 4 ceiling lights in living room. Original two were in the wrong spot. With reluctance Daniel moved the two lights over18 inches and agreed that the two were in the wrong spot. Was not willing to fix holes. After the two lights moved the other too looked wrong and we talked about moving them. We agreed to move them 18 inches as well and when he began to move them I said it was ok to not move them and that it was ok to stop. He did not and was very angry, confrontational and used offense language. I was very uncomfortable. There was dust and electrical wires on the floor and he would not use a drop cloth I was cleaning up behind him.
Paid him so he would leave and was very uncomfortable after the situation.
Called him the next week to fix. He agreed to stop over at 8:00 AM. Received a call from Daniel and he said he slept in and was going to be late. 45 minutes later he arrived. Was not willing to repair the 4 extra holes in the ceiling or move the two lights. Wanted me to pay him. I said I would not and he left.
