Received a mailer from BF Plumbing with the Angies List name prominently displayed on the top.  I called to get an estimate on a new water heater.  I was immediately told a technician would have to come out and look at my current water heater.  I explained all I wanted was a price range.  The representative from BF then told me "You wouldn't ask for an estimate from a doctor would you?  I pointed out that we were discussing a water heater not a medical emergency, but the representative was adamant that a technician would have to come out.
This is the typical pitch when a company is about to over charge you for a product or service.  Don't waste your time with this company.
