The guy that came out did a good job. I have used him before with that company. He is very professional, and all that kind of stuff. I think the price, things tend to be high here in Maples. The prices tend to be high, but he people are professional and timely. If they lowered the price I would say A. I don't think it is out of line in Maples but Maples just tend to be expensive relative. I would use them again. I think they are responsive, and professional. We are in a high rise condo and their company installed the plumbing initially. They know the building and the issues with the building, and how to solve plumbing problems. Anyone in this building I would recommend them to use that company instead of another company. They have been very professional. I don't have any issues other than their prices tend to be high.

Since they took so much pipe before soldering it, if it fails, I don't have extra pipe to deal with a leak.  I thought since I belonged to Angie's List I was safe from being "taken"so since I had to work, I had a neighbor to deal with Bear's Plumbing.  I waited so long to report this because I thought it was my fault for leaving a neighbor to handle it.  Then I realized other people might think they are also safe by belonging to Angie's List.

They are very good and very thorough. However, they are pretty expensive.

As stated above, speak to Bear's directly as they are wonderful to work with and do a fantastic job!!

The responsiveness to the water pipe breaking was the same day, so that was excellent.  Again, I was not on site when this happened but I do know that after all was said and done Bear's Plumbing did not seal the pipes that ran through the wall to the outside.  I had to call them back to do this so that creatures from the outdoors would not come crawling into my unit.  However, when I did call them, they did come back and seal the pipes from the outdoors and the person who did come also checked other areas and fixed what he found that had not been fully completed.

The other issue, which I found when I finally was able to be on site, was that Bear's had left the water shut-offs to my washer floating in the wall.  They put the new PEX to these shut offs but never stabilized the remaining copper pipes/shutoffs in the wall.  This means that every time my washer calls for water these pipes will be jarred and the soldering weakened until another leak happens!  

Bear's also left 35 year old valves to the two showers.  They did not replace them while the walls were open and did not add new solder to the pipes leading to the valves.  To me this was the perfect time to do this and it seems crazy that all other pipes were redone and they left these old valves and their connecting copper pipes for about 1 or 2 feet without resoldering etc.

 One of the shut-offs to the washer was leaking.  It was obvious that this was so as the flexible hose going from the washer to the cold water shut off was all rusted.  They didn't repair this and didn't even notify us of this fact.   We discovered it by accident when we were putting things back in place.

I use Bear's Plumbing for my residence and my rental property and have been using them for several years. This report involves  a service call to clean the clogged kitchen drain at my rental property. They were quick to respond when I called and I feel that the price they charged was fair and they are my plumber of choice.

This was discovered the day after a hurricane and they responded promptly and made the repairs.

It was a very good experience. We have used them before. The plumbers were very competent and friendly. They got the job done quickly. They gave us some advice on a secondary issue that we asked about. We were very pleased. We would rather have not spent that much.

They were very prompt. Somebody from their office called me back in just few minutes after I called them. They said that they had someone in the area that would be here within an hour and he was here at that time. He diagnosed the problem and showed me what the prices would be. He compared installing a new water heater and just putting a new coil in. He told me that mine was in a good condition and so just put the coils in for my benefit. That was the first time I used them.

There was a technician in my home within an hour from my phone call. He worked very quietly, cleanly and efficiently and explained fully what he was going to do before starting the actual work.
