Angelito's Flowers of Golden Gate

The order was placed via internet & confirmed by phone with the florist. Flowers were to be delivered on Sat before Mother's Day or possible on Mother's Day (Sun). The florist was to call in advance to make sure we were home.  Flowers did not arrive on Sat or Sun (Mother's Day) despite being home all day both days. Calls to the florist on Sun went unanswered. On Monday after Mother's Day we contacted the florist, who explained that it was a busy 2 days & "things fall through the cracks". No financial consideration was offered other than a discount on a future order. Needless to say, there would never be another order to this business. On Monday afternoon we were at the hospital having tests when our gate house called to say the florist was there to deliver flowers. No call had been made in advance to make sure we were home. Despite other plans for that day with an out of town visitor, we had to drive home to retrieve the flowers left at the door in 90 degree heat. The flowers were wilted within several days. Roses did not open & even baby carnations were dead before the week was out. It looked like the flowers were probably made up on Sat, three days before they were delivered.
