I found a spot in my closet with mold. Searched for companies that had mold remediation. I went on Angi to put in a request for someone to come out. Above water cleaning and restoration was the very first company to call me immediately. Because of their customer service and knowledge of the work needing to be done I decided to work with them. This amazing company does amazing work and they were in and out in no time. They made this process seamless for me. So professional and the worker Edward was amazing to work with. He explained everything to me. The owner has been allowing me to message him on his personal number to keep updates. By far would recommend this company to even my real estate clients! I hired this company for mold removal, restoration of damaged wall, installation of new cabinet and kitchen countertop of my property in Naples. Because the water damage and mold growth occurred behind the wall and cabinetry in the kitchen, prior to signing a contract agreement, I asked and got an assurance the company CEO, Giancarlo Blanco, that its company can replace the dry wall, paint, install a new cabinet (old cabinet has molds), and the countertop. The CEO, Giancarlo Blanco, agreed. Prior to the specific work, I got cost estimates. I paid for the mold treatment in full, including 3rd party inspection. Thereafter, per agreement, I paid half of the total cost to install a new cabinet and countertop, with the final half after completion of the job to my satisfaction. Halfway in the installation of the cabinet/countertop, Giancarlo asked for the final payment; otherwise, his crew will not plumb the water line so that the sink cannot be used, neither the dishwasher nor the refrigerator. This was after more than one month of work, and my live-in tenant has already been so frustrated for not being able to use the kitchen, filtered water, etc. As I am from out-of-state, I advanced not the full half payment, with the remainder after I inspected the work when I come done for a visit. To my dismay, upon seeing the work in person, the job was done sloppily, with this company cutting corners. Cabinet measurements were undercut exposing ugly tiles. Paint of the wall and ceiling did not match. The recess light in the ceiling fell off, my expensive Moen faucet was replaced with a cheaper Glacier Bay, and garbage disposer cannot be installed because of missing pieces. The whole project started in mid-December 2023, and to date, the work is not done yet. To correct the imperfections in installing the right cabinet, Giancarlo is charging me instead of assuming accountability for a sloppy job, mismanaging the project, and not overseeing the work of his crew. Communicating with Giancarlo has been very painful, will not return my call; instead, preferred texting. Twice I visited Naples and he will not even meet with me; so many excuses. Just for the work beyond mold remediation, I had already paid $12K. This is not acceptable and I aim to take this company to a small business court, unless they come back and correct the issues. Very poor customer service. I will never trust Angies list recommendation again.

I had an emergency and called three companies. Above Water called me back within five minutes. They quickly took care of my problem, and during the process the communication was great. They actually returned phone calls and followed . And they did the work correctly and on time.. Highly recommend.

What a great crew! They really helped us after Hurricane Ian! We had a national brand who had done some initial clean up for us but who couldn’t do the mold remediation work. When THIS team engaged, they also identified things the initial vendor didn’t do correctly or should’ve done differently, and they resolved those problems … including discovering mold BEHIND our shower because it was originally tiled over drywall vs cement board!! We wouldn’t have found that until it rotted out. They crew was knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy. We gave them our keys to come and go as they needed. We felt they treated our home with care and they did a really good job. The house is dry, mold-free, mildew-free, no smells, all the studs were treated, and we are now ready to drywall and put in flooring. Thank you to this amazing crew! The only thing I would’ve done differently is hire them in the FIRST place instead of the national brand. Stellar service!!
