I arrived at my appointment time 11.30am and AZ Nails kindly soaked off my Shellac for free which was nice as most other salons charge a fee. While my Shellac was being soaked off, properly with cotton swabs and foil and not just shoved in a bowl with acetone, I started my pedicure with Kim, however while Kim was working Nick consistently kept checking my Shellac removal so my nails were not damaged.
Kim really went above and beyond the call of duty, she scrubbed my feet gently, but firmly and paid extra attention to my toe nails as they are quite awkward to polish, all in all, my pedicure came out looking First Class!
Nick is a magician with his hand nail technique. I was pleasantly surprised since I'd always had Acrylics or Shellac how easier it was to get a perfect manicure with OPI Gels as this was the first time I'd tried the product. Nick took his time and performed 10 perfectly painted nails in a French Manicure. I was so happy, I couldn't believe my own natural nails could looks so pretty and natural, they were so beautiful, I took a photo.
My only sadness was and is, I'm in transit and have tried lots of other salons in NYC and Europe and each person who promised to produce the same results from my photograph couldn't do the nails as nice as Nick did in Naples, Florida. I finally gave up in London, England and just had a lady cover my nails with acrylic which I will continue until I can get back to Naples, Florida and AZ Nails.
Being a fussy person, I highly recommend AZ Nails, especially Nick, he's a genius. I am so thankful for his knowledge and artistry in the nail department, I can't wait to have him remove the acrylic I currently have on my nails and put back on the OPI Gel. Nobody else can do it like Nick can, he's brilliant.
Thanks to the previous reviewer as she appears to have had the same nail issues as me with other salons and her review really helped me and led me to the BEST nail salon in Naples, Florida.... Much appreciated :)
Since I live in Naples, Florida, I can't wait to get back and have my nails in good hands with talented people! AZ Nails is the best salon I've ever found in Naples, and I've tried plenty, I would never go to another salon, I'm too happy with not only gorgeous nails, but also the price I paid for them was really fair and reasonable considering Kim and Nick really impressed me and allowed me to leave the salon happy and not ripped off... Oh, did I mention my nails looked magnificent!

I am not a nail person (My nails are thin, flakey and peeled down to the quick most of the time) so I just requested a renewal of shellac nails since I had done that at home prior to my trip to Florida. I figured that was the best I could do.
Nick told me that what I REALLY wanted were gel nails. Well, I have tried those before and told him so. I hated those thick things. He convinced me that I would like what he would do. He said that they would be the BEST. He was NOT wrong!
He used the natural lengths that I had in natural color and I simply looked like I had strong, real nails (in a natural thickness.) I have never seen anything like them.
Since I have gotten home, I have tried to find someone to do something to hold me over until I get back to Florida in January. Unfortunately, my nails have been RUINED by a local manicurist who thought she could match the job I got from Nick. Whether or not he can correct them, I don't know.
Nonetheless, he does an AMAZING job and if you are in the area, don't miss giving him an opportunity to help you with your nails.
