The representative at A-HL Computers, Alan, was extremely sympathetic and helpful installing the cooling fan. He ran a complete diagnostics and did the best he could, despite some internal damage that we suspect was done at Best Buy (but couldn't prove). Regardless, Alan installed the cooling fan as requested but the laptop On/Off Switch had been damaged internally so I couldn't turn on the darn thing. Alan helped me back up all of my files from the hard drive and I took back the damaged laptop, deciding to move on to another one. Alan gave me alternatives and options and was very understanding when I told him of my decision to move on. I would use A-HL Computers again without hesitation. Alan was a hundred times more reliable and responsive than the amateur hour "service" that I got from Best Buy. Thank you, Alan, for giving me some peace of mind and doing all that you could do in such a friendly and honest way.

Not good. My tasks have changed completely and I've yet to figure out how to get it back to it's original settings. After Alan left, I realized all of my Outlook settings had changed. I was able to get the main ribbon back but I can't get the contact ribbon back which means I can't add contacts right now. Thank goodness for my iPhone. I can add contacts in there. I don't mind paying but I certainly expect to come out ahead after service. Now even worse than when I started. In the future, I will try to find a company with several employees rather than a sole proprietor. I selected this company because of the good reviews. I guess he's not up to date on Outlook 2013.

Fixed scanning and suggested I purchase new computer. I had loaded Windows 10 and my computer not as compatible as it should be. Because I was soon going back to Michigan and knew computer people personally I decided to wait. Solution for Quicken was I need updated version. I was grateful for quick service and felt he did a good job overall as he came onsite and got me up and running very quickly. I had another little glitch and called him and he was able to walk me through it over the phone. I am senior citizen and not the brightest when it comes to computers.

He came and worked on it at the house and could not get it running correctly. So, he took it to his office and spent a good part of the day fixing it - he returned the computer back to me the following day - good as new. I was so impressed!!!!

I have worked in an office setting for over 35 years and have dealt with numerous computer techs. I am not as computer savvy as some people may be, but A-HL is so easy to work with, totally explains computer matters in a language I can understand, always fixes the problem and provides additional assistance and ideas, and to top it all off, the owner has a great personality and sense of humor so we end up laughing most of the office visit! Equally important is the availability. A-HL is always prompt in scheduling and always on time, and in fact, usually arrives early for appointments. I highly recommend this company.
