R Plumbing

We have a home warranty insurance policy with American Home Shield (AHS). The water heater was covered under this policy. AHS dictated we use Rosi's Plumbing Service for replacing the water heater - we were locked in to doing business with Rosi's only. Rosi's came out to determine that the leaky water heater truly needed replacing, as opposed to being repaired, and verified the claim with AHS. This took a day to accomplish. Once Rosi's received the go-ahead from AHS they told me it would take 6 calendar days for them to come out to install the new heater!!!!! That's 7 calendar days including the initial evaluation day. I called Rosi's to complain about the 8 days but is was like talking to a brick wall - there was no way they were going to deviate from their schedule. Because of the AHS dictate we had no choice but to go with Rosi's and to wait out the 8 days. Once the new water heater was installed they presented me with a bill for $475 for "misc. supplies and services not covered under the AHS warranty". I asked them for a breakdown of this $475 bill, but they said none was available - it was not their policy. Once again, it was like talking to a brick wall to get this breakdown. I have come to the conclusion they brick-walled me on their "policies" because they knew I was locked in by AHS to doing business with them so they took advantage of the situation. I cannot recommend strongly enough -NEVER do business with Rosi's.

PS:I called several other plumbing services to compare to Rosi's. Every one of them quoted same day or next day installations and the cheapest bid was for $600 completely installed.

They were sent to us and they've been excellent.

The experience with them was frustrating, exasperating, and just made me angry by the end of a two month period ( over the holidays) after which the warranty company sent another plumbing company who fixed the problem right away. Rosie's technician tried twice but did not fix the problem, and at my third request to fix the toilet, the technician gave the warranty company his opinion of what caused the problem, which was not covered under the  warrenty contract. I took issue with Rosie's claim, and the warranty company sent a second plumber who fixed it on his first attempt. During the two months Rosie's dealt with the problem, the staff that answered the phone were polite but did not seem to get information correct: information which I gave them, or the warrenty company gave them, or the information they gave to me. The results were that the communications were poor, evidenced by a no-show by technician on an appointment they scheduled with me, apparently oblivious that an appointment was missed by them, and on the third request to repair the toilet, Rosie's staff told me they did not have work order from warranty company when warranty company assured me they did, and in fact Rosie's did have work order at hand. They seem disorganized with too many people in the communication channel, with poor detail and follow through to the customer.

They were awful. I would never recommend them. They couldn't detect the leak. They kept saying that I didn't have a leak and that caused a lot of destruction of my property.

Technician was professional and completed the job.

Rozi's Plumbing was very responsive and helpful.  Good work at a fair price.

They are very professional and I would definitely use their services again in the future.
