Stay away from this scam company! I have never experienced such a disrespectful, rude, unprofessional man or business in my entire life. We put a large deposit down for a screened in porch build, and then they disappeared and ignored our calls. Tony Kurtz, the owner, is an absolute smooth-talking scammer. After he gave us an estimate, we put down a large deposit, and we were put on his schedule. The day we were supposed to have concrete poured, no one showed up or answered our calls. We later found out that his concrete guy cancelled for personal reasons, but Tony or his office never reached out to inform us of this because “he was on vacation in the mountains and didn’t know.” Because of that, he pushed our install date out. Then, a hurricane hit shortly before we were scheduled for the install, so there were understandable delays. No problems there, and we were promised by Tony that we were next in line and he would contact us asap. However, that’s when he completely ghosted us. After dozens of emails, phone calls, texts and messages with no return, we were finally told by Tony that they were delaying our project so that they could instead take care of any new customers that called with hurricane damage. After we argued that we had been waiting over a year for our project, he responded that prices have gone up since our original estimate and he was no longer going to be making any money on our project so he was going to take all hurricane calls for the next several months and would get back to us in a few months. It was clear that he was taking advantage of the hurricane to charge higher costs for everyone going through insurance and our project wasn’t worth his time anymore. After that call, we waited and continued to check-in for updates over the next few months, but they never returned any of our calls or emails. On several occasions, their voicemail inbox was full, so I imagine that they have been doing this to others as well. We dealt with the stress of this company for over a year and we never had any work done. What a scam.

Signed contract in May he did not start work until December. The footer guy was great and did a very good job. He did not back fill the footer and I thought that was to accommodate the screen room. He collected a check for materials in January and said they would start in three weeks. When that went by he came out and measured again even though there were architectural plans done before permitting. Then he said two weeks. Then I started asking for the purchase order because I did not believe he ever ordered the materials and he had not. Finally on March 3 he ordered the materials. He could not have possibly finished the job in January as he promised because he never ordered the materials. If I had not continued to call and text and demand the delivery date of the materials I believe I still would not have a screen today. I could go on but by now you can get a general idea and just writing this makes all the bad feelings come back.

Mr. Kurtz had given an estimate in the spring, but we weren't ready until the fall.  When I contacted him, there was no change in the price.  Plus this was done long distance, but we could not have hoped for better results.
He called to go over all the details, he told me when he would do the job, and he called when the job was completed.  He also sent a picture of the finished project.
When we were able to personally inspect the screening, we were very pleased with the work.
In my experience, you won't be disappointed in calling Kurtz Aluminum.

The experience is good. I have used him for repair a few years ago to replace some screen panels and he was very responsive and cordial. I think his price is fair. He is a local businessman and he responds when I contact him. He is very courteous and I think he is fair with his customers. He stands behind his work and does what he says he is going to do.

Showed up when scheduled. Tony Kurtz the owner replaced an additional 5 damaged panels that were not identified in the estimate with no extra charge. They did good work and cleaned the work area when done. The employees were cordial and answered some questions that I had. Tony replaced the soffit, fascia, installed seamless gutter and replaced all screws in the pool cage a couple years ago so I was familiar with the quality of their work.

Owner arrived on time and performed most of the work himself. Job took longer than expected and he stayed until it was done at the agreed upon price. Excellent work and someone I can trust. Tony Kurtz will do all my screen and cage work in the future.

They were recommended to me by a friend. I did a lot of research, and I think their price is very reasonable. They are still working on it. He calls me if he is going to be late or if he can't come. He has been in constant communication; I have been very impressed with his responsibility. I would use them again in the future.

I found this company because my pool servicer inadvertently put his hand through a screen, and sent over Tony Kurtz to repair it.

Tony was so pleasant and professional that I asked him about the rusty fasteners on my otherwise -white pool cage. I have been concerned that they would not hold up in the event of strong winds. He gave me a quote to do the work, and followed through 110%. Even after the job was completed quite well by one of his workers, he called a day or two later and asked if could inspect it. He found some areas where it did not look pristine, and he scrubbed them up himself. My pool cage looks brand-new.

This is a caliber of professionalism and service that one does not encounter very often.
