David Angarita is a total rip off had my BMW 750 from 9/2-11/13. Note this was the week before hurricane Irma. We were quoted a price for a transmission before we took the vehicle to him. However, after hurricane Irma he inflated the price telling us that used transmissions for our vehicle were difficult to locate because of high demand due to flooding. We waited 2 weeks and he continued with the price inflation he went so far as to tell us which vendors he was using. I immediately called LKQ which was one of the vendors and they found 2 transmissions immediately one in Georgia and Maryland. After relaying this to David he suddenly found the exact transmission in GA however his price was $200.00 dollars more and without any warranty. I purchased the exact transmission purchased a years warranty with the extra $200 he was going to charge and had the transmission delivered to him in Mt Dora FL. After this the customer service went down hill he claimed the transmission was defective blamed for purchasing a bad transmission. Remind you this is the same transmission he sent me an invoice on. Since I had a warranty, which I would have been high and dry had I purchased it at his price and no warranty. LKQ quickly responded and ordered transmission #2. David Angarita was not happy that LKQ would not pay him the warranty money for labor directly because I was the purchase. He gets transmission #2 and supposedly it's not any good either per David Angarita. So, now I still don't have my transmission fixed but because I (I) purchased a warranty he was able to collect labor fees from me before he released my vehicle. Although LKQ will reimburse me for my transmission this guy was paid for nothing and I later found out he didn't even attempt to put in transmission #2 he knew he would get labor regardless. Customers beware he's a fast talker and a complete rip off. DO NOT use any of his services he also has car sales. Beware I wish I had did my research it would have saved me a lot of headaches, sleepless nights and dealing with a shady character. Read ALL Reviews.
