Drimaxx

This contractor had me sign an "assignment". He said it was so they could be the advocate between us and the insurance co. What it REALLY means is that I couldn't get rid of them and hire a different mold remediation company. I was stuck with them. After approximately 5 months, the insurance co. sent out a mold detection co. The house still had mold. The contractor came out again and fiddled with something and said the lab shows the results are OK. Finally, the Insurance Co. negotiated with them just to get rid of them. Now it's been 6 months since our house is in turmoil. I got another contractor from the Insurance co. These guys saw VISIBLE mold, NEVER USE DRIMAXX! And never sign an assignment. Only incompetent companies use them.

It was a nightmare. There was only one person working. He came over a few hours a week during which times we had to take off work. The insurance company hired a mold detection service and the house still had mold in the air AND visible mold. Thankfully, the insurance company sent out a mold remediation co. who knew what they were doing.

I asked if they work weekends and the answer was yes. Once the work was started, he told us he doesn't work weekends. It took months. Then the house failed the mold test. He came back and fiddled around with I don't know what. Another mold test and they even saw VISIBLE mold. So far, this new company has done more in 2 weeks than Drimaxx did in 5 1/2 months. They passed the mold test and now are starting the rebuild.

Drimaxx responded quickly with a very fair price. They were attentive and efficient. They worked around my schedule and we're always prompt and polite.

Scott was at our house and giving us an estimate within 24 hours. Placed large driers in house for 4 days. On Monday his crew came in and setup a barrier to the rest of the house. They removed drywall, cabinets, flooring, etc on first day on the job. Cleaned the kitchen and dining room on day two including sanding studs and treating area for mold. On day three and four they cleaned the rest of the home with hepa vac and wiping everything down in the home. The house was cleaned extremely well. Also all damaged material was removed from the house.
