Kwik Kerb by 3D

We saw one of our neighbours using Kwik Kerb and the quality of the work compared to some of the others that had been done in the neighbourhood.  
When I called Jim was in the area and was able to pop by later that day.  We went through what was available, shape of curb, pattern and colour.  The beds were measured and quote given before  he left.
As we were having either side of the house and the majority of the front and back edged it was going to take some time and he gave an estimate of 5 days to be safe for the work to be carried out.
Monday morning, Jim and his team arrived before 8am and got to work.  We walked the yard to ensure that the we were all working off the same page.  He cuts the grass around the edge of the beds to make the shape that the edging will take.  As we St Augustine grass, he lays a foundation down so that the edging stands proud and isn't lost behind the grass.
Their machine lays a continuous line of concrete that follows the shape of the bed, this is then covered with a layer of some type of plaster that is coloured to your choice, this is then stamped with the pattern and colour/shading added.  When this is dried two coats of protective  varnish are applied.  It was remarkable to watch and see the beds transform.
Each day they arrived early and worked non stop until 5pm when the light started to fail.  All the work was completed by Wednesday.
We were advised to let it cure for a week and it would be fully set after a month.
Each day they cleaned up after them and made sure that things were left neat and tidy before they left.
They have done a fantastic job and everything looks really nice, it makes the beds stand out and keeps the mulch within the beds.
