CUSTOM LAMPS & SHADES

I recently moved to this area...remote to almost every need. Needing an Opthamologist, I chose to join Angie's List. I then realized I had another resource to fulfill other needs. During transit, a lampshade to my most favorite, uniquely designed lamp was damaged. I searched for months both online and in the various shops carrying lampshades to find a replacement, to no avail. Angie's List listed Custom Lamps and Shades, Mount Dora, FL, almost 21 miles from home seemed as though they might be the answer. (I was accustomed to driving two or three miles for every necessity.) I called the shop, explained my situation, took the lamp in, Mr. Weeks immediately knew the right answer. His replacement recommendation was much more beautiful than the original shade. He said he would have the shade available in two weeks. One week later, my phone rang, the shade was ready for pickup. I was elated. The shade really is perfect as was Mr. Week's service from beginning to end. The only down side is that parking in Mount Dora is practically non-existent. It is a small, extremely unique little town. Once people come, they tend to stay all day. Mr. Weeks will work with you on this issue in getting your product to you. I highly recommend this shop when you'd rather not settle for less than best.
