I have to echo all the good things said about Michael Starling's work in the June 2017 review. Michael refaced all of my kitchen cabinets and replaced lower shelves with slide-outs in July 2016 and I am still delighted by the work he did and how nice he was to work with.

They have done a good job.

I cannot say enough good things about Michael. His work is meticulous, he is always on time and kept me up to date on the progress throughout. He takes pride in doing an excellent job as he should, he is a true craftsman. Through out the process, which took 8 working days, he kept the kitchen clean and actually put down floor protection from the garage throughout the kitchen. The final product is stunning and more beautiful than I had imagined. He also helped in finding really talented subs to do the countertops and bar top and plumbing. Whites Plumbing did an excellent job in installing the sink and faucet and Michel came by to make sure it was done properly. Tim Peachey did the quartz countertops and he too is a perfectionist. I highly recommend him. Barry Miller of Rose Boulevard Furniture did an oak slab for the bar top and it is a true work of art. Check out his Facebook page, he is a real up and coming artist in this town. Michel is very busy and in demand, so you may have to wait a few weeks for him, but it is truly worth it!

Absolutely thrilled with the outcome on my kitchen. Michael is uber professional and his attention to detail is exhausting to observe, but, boy oh boy, it makes all the difference!! We bought this one year old house and the cabinetry the original owners chose was espresso brown....fine except the dark color stopped the eye and compartmentalized the entire ( otherwise ) open area - making it look considerably smaller than it is. The quality was also quite inexpensive. We immediately made the decision to upgrade the cabinet and drawer fronts and Michael was very helpful in assisting us with complementing the stationary components. We decided on white....not to be lightly taken considering the expresso brown. My kitchen now looks as though it was originally built this new and improved way, and the quality of the new drawer and door fronts is exponentially better so the overall appearance is one of high quality and finesse.

Cost of service for Installation of kitchen cabinets.  High quality cabinets installed as promised.  no delays or problems.  Also served as general contractor for complete kitchen remodel.  Supervised Granite countertop installation, electrical and plumbing hook-ups and new appliance installations.  Recommended a tile installer for floors and backsplashes.  All work is of top quality and we love our new kitchen.  Michael Starling was a complete professional in all aspects of this job.  Everything was delivered as promised, no detail or question went unanswered.

As you can see from the details of what was done at my house, it was a complicated job.   There was a lot to it besides making new cabinets and refacing my older ones - Michael Starling and his right-hand man, Stevie, did an outstanding job for me and I recommend North Florida Cabinets & More 100 per cent with absolutely no reservations!
Michael Starling was recommended to me by two ladies I work with.  They told me not to even bother getting other estimates.  Turns out they were absolutely right, even though I did end up getting one other estmate -- well, one other company came out, but I never heard back from them - and they are a company that is listed here on Angie's List.  I think this job was just more than they wanted to deal with, but it was not too much for North Florida Cabinets and More!
Michael Starling came out and gave me an estimate.  He was thorough, took his time, asked questions and discussed ideas with me, took careful measurements and in a few days provided an estimate.  In the course of this complicated job, Michael not only re-faced some of my cabinets and built new cabinets for me, he removed an island that I never thought I would get removed.  He co-ordinated the cutting out of my countertop granite so a new slide-in range could be installed, called in an electrician to help install the range, and re-did the whole cabinet area around that range.  He called in plumbers for the installation of a new dishwasher, coordinated installing a duct and duct work for the OTR microwave oven, converted a built-in desk to cabinets and more.  He gave me several wonderful suggestions for my kitchen, such as replacing 6 smaller drawers with 3 larger drawers and adding a pull-out cabinet to accomodate cookie sheets, etc.  He also built a surround around my new fridge with cabinets above it.  I LOVE the full extension drawers and the roll-out drawers in my lower cabinets!
The job took around 1.5 to 2 weeks  to complete.  The work area was kept very neat and clean.  Michael and Stevie truly went above and beyond and the results are amazing!  Michael is a true craftsman who is a perfectionist about his work.  He is also very easy-going and listens to you. 
The cabinets are absoutely gorgeous.  I chose maple cabinets with an off-white laquer finish with a brown glaze and added a rope crown molding.  The kitchen is so much brighter and it is stunning.  My advice to anyone who is considering new cabinets is just what the two ladies I work with told me.  Don't even bother with any other estimates.  You cannot do better than Micheal Starlling and North Florida Cabinets and More.

From start to finish Mike stayed involved and kept us informed concerning all aspects of the removal and installation process.  He followed a set schedule which made the entire process go smoothly.  Mike was always concerned about meeting our needs, not just getting the job done. This made working with him a breath of fresh air.  There were no surprises.  The entire job was finished in 2 1/2 days and met all of our expectations.  

I love my cabinets. Michael is punctual, a perfectionist, a professional, a problem solver and very nice to work with. I cannot praise him and Stevie (who works with him) enough. He was so accommodating with all my requests and questions.

He did the same type of work for my friend, who had a great experience and her kitchen is beautiful, which is why I contacted him. Now, mine is just as beautiful. I recommend him without hesitation.

MIke is the first contractor who has met all of my expectations in my year long remodel.  All that it took was to treat his clients as he wants to be treated.  He is knowledgeful, punctual, resourceful, has a clear schedule and sticks to it.  Mike is a critical thinker who thought through the issues we were having (building a cabinet box to hide part of the fridge and pull a cabinet forward, designing the trim work on a long and high vanity and designing a knee to perform double duty as a wine cabinet)  When it came to a choice, he gave me clear options in enough time for me to think them through and give him an informed answer.  He always cleaned up and was very thoughtful of our family's schedule.

Michael was easy to work with and completely professional. It's difficult to have your kitchen "under construction," but Michael made the process as painless as it could be by cleaning up each day before leaving and keeping me apprised of how the project was unfolding. It all went very smoothly.
When confronted with an unanticipated obstacle, he resolved the problem quickly and with quiet confidence. 
Michael has a good eye for design. He suggested a couple of simple details I wouldn't have thought of, which added a subtle flair to the project. 
My large kitchen couldn't be more beautiful now. I'm ecstatic with the outcome.

We were extremely pleased with Michael's work at North Florida Cabinets. Previously our kitchen cabinets were painted maple. The white paint had cracked and chipped. In the remodel job, the counter tops were Cambria Quartz in two bathrooms and the kitchen. They were created by Talquin and Michael included them as part of his project for us. They all are beautiful. The range hood he created out of cherry replaced a few cabinets and an over-the-stove microwave. It turned out to be stunning--a real centerpiece of the kitchen. The cherry cabinets and wainscoting dressed up the kitchen tremendously. We also had some kitchen bookshelves replaced with cherry shelving and Michael installed glass doors. Combined with a new quartz desktop and cherry drawer, that area like something out of a magazine now. Michael's attention to detail was appreciated. We couldn't be more pleased with the way everything turned out and highly recommend this company's craftsmanship and work.

North Florida Cabinetry and More owner Michael Starling and his helper arrived promptly when arranged each day for seven days. Each day they were completely prepared, used a hepafilter vacuum while sanding and cleaned up when finished for the day. We started on Monday and they were finished on Saturday with the exception of the pantry door. The hold up on the door was a special heavy duty hanging system that I had ordered. It arrived on Saturday and Michael came on Monday to install the door. We couldn't be happier with his work, professionalism and quiet, respectful manner.

Michael and Steve were always prompt, courteous, and they are the best craftsmen we have ever had!  Their work ethics and expertise were exemplary!

Michael did an excellent job replacing several cabinet doors and drawer faces that were damaged. He was very professional and communicated thoroughly throughout the process. Michael also offered fixed our front Dir that was sticking at no charge. He could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

It was fine. Their people are good. I think that their pricing is normal. The quality of work is good. They are professional.

Michael did an absolutely fabulous job on our kitchen. We could not be more pleased. He is so talented and wonderful to work with. We are in awe every time we go in our kitchen. First, Michael came to discuss our kitchen and develop an estimate. He spent lots of time with us explaining the process and our options. We knew right away that he was the one we wanted to work with. We had to wait a month or so  to get on his schedule but it was well worth it! As noted above he did so much more for us than just refacing cabinets, and the cabinets are beautiful!  We are especially pleased with the stain he used on the cabinets. We found a color we liked and gave it to Michael and he matched it perfectly. The finish on the cabinets is top notch. He coordinated our granite install with Talquin and we had some electrical work that needed to be done for the new appliances and he coordinated that as well. Other than that, Michael did all the rest of the work himself with his partner. That was very convenient for us. This is very labor intensive work and they did it to perfection. Everything was cleaned up daily and flooring protection was placed on our hardwood floors. Another thing that Michael does is let you know daily exactly what is going on with the job and what the schedule will be. He is very considerate and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend his company and plan to use him when we remodel our bathrooms.

Michael and his helper were extremely quiet, polite, efficient and meticulous.  They removed the old counter tops and prepped the area.  They very carefully installed the veneer on the entire outside of the cabinets and the interior separators.  He added new crown molding and double checked everything before he cut or put in a screw-there were no mistakes. He's a very steady worker: he didn't take long breaks but worked a good 8-9 hours each day.  Before they started working, they put down heavy paper on the hard wood floor, so they weren't any scratches.
We'd recommend him highly and would use him again.

We could not have been happier with Michael Starling of North Florida Cabinets and More.  He was extremely professional and responsive to all of our questions and requests.  We had found a cabinet color that we liked and he spent considerable time working with various dyes to match what we wanted.  And, the results were awesome.  He arrived when he said he would and worked hard throughout the day.  The under cabinet lighting adds tremendously to the overall impact.  We had a rather plain cabinet that faces the dining room and Michael added trim that really enhances it.  He was extremely detail-oriented and it shows.  People who have seen the cabinets since he finished the refacing have thought we had gotten new cabinets.  It looks like we spent lots more than we did.  We are thrilled with our cabinets and highly recommended Michael.  We definitely will use him if we decide to move forward with renovations to out bathrooms.  And, we cannot fail to mention, he is just an extremely nice person - it was a pleasure doing business with him.
