1872 John Denham House

It was WONDERFUL!!! The victorian house is elegant, yet warm and inviting with its many antiques. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and EXTEMELY clean! Pat, the owner and operator, is beyond welcoming, kind, sweet and making the guests feel like family. And, the food is heavenly!!  The coffee is a Guatemala blend fresh ground, the juice is fresh squeezed, the bacon and sausage is fresh from a local butcher, the crossiants are buttery and melt in your mouth and Pat's pecan waffles are so mouthwatering they will make anyone demand seconds, which are already available as the portions are huge!!!  We go almost every year on our anniversary.  It is quiet and romantic.  Although, I'm to understand that the "ghost tours" are fun.  (Monticello, the charming town in which this inn is, claims its fame not only from its historic qualities but from its ghost tours).  The romance package is well worth the extra fee as it includes champange, Belgium chocolates, fresh flowers and candles.  Overall, our experiences at the John Denham House Bed & Breakfast Inn have been FANTASIC & WELL WORTH EVERY CENT, and we would recommend it to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
