"First I would like to thank you for the business. We came out to give you a free estimate up front before any work was done . You approved the price and wanted us to perform the work . We informed you of the credit card processing fee before we came out , and let you know if you wanted to avoid it the other payment options . There is a lot more that goes into that price than just someone getting paid by the hour that whole job , we had a experienced plumber that had performed that type of job thousands of times over several years that is why they were able to get it done in an hour the price would have been the same if it would have took 1 hour , 4 hours , or 6 hours . We had a plumber apprentice also a fully stocked truck that is clearly marked , our guys wear uniforms , you were an hour from our shop so fuel, not to mention the general liability insurance we carry , commercial auto insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance, those are just a few of what we have to work into these jobs not including the lovely office lady that also earns a paycheck , our shop , phone , and electric bill just to mention a few we also have state , and county fees just to work in these counties . So if you want to talk about outrageous running a small business cost is outrageous. Price was gave upfront before any work was done also they had to cut a tee out and repipe not just a straight piece of pipe repair with digging it up ."
