Tge Vet an tech walked in ,she instantly grabbed my dog and put her on the table.....NEVER was I asked WHY I brought her in, as I explained she was itching ( I have NEVER) seen a flea on her but she went to new groomers, the tech grabbed a flea off her back and from then everything was about her being all fleas. All they want to do is prescriptions for one thing after another. The medication they ( wrote but believed was not needed) and Vet said so was over 80 dollars, they wanted me to but flea medication because ( Walmart flea medication) doesn't work THEY said. Had he any knowledge of my dogs breed he would of known they have skin allergies, but instead they were rude and upset I didn't empty my bank account to them. When I wrote a review on their site ( giggling at their pettiness) They blocked me an said they were mailing my dogs records to me. How damg professional is that. Animals deserve better than SANTA ROSA VETERINARY CLINIC.

The office of this vet doesn't look like offices of other vets I have been to. The waiting area is very small and has a somewhat unclean appearance. I couldn't afford the prices the other vets in Santa Rosa county was asking for the service and Santa Rosa vet. Clinic was the cheapest by far. My animal had to be spayed in Santa Rosa county because she was a shelter rescue. I normally would've taken my cat to my vet scenic hills. We have been going there for years and their prices are really reasonable and they take good care of your pets and call you for updates if the animal is having an extensive procedure. I decided to go ahead with the spay at Santa Rosa veternary clinic. The procedure went well. No complications. Procedure was completed on time an we were allowed to pick up our cat on time. The one thing I can say is make sure you take a portable kennel for a cat having surgery or otherwise they recommend them placing the cat in a pillow case. I am sure this is for the cats And everyone else's safety but I didnt want my cat traumatized after just having surgery so I had brought along a carrier I had just left it in my car. This vet has very very reasonable prices and seemed to perform quality work. I would reccomend this vet but just let anyone know what to expect with the external look and internal look of the waiting area and office.
Response from Santa Rosa Veterinary Clinic
"We do appreciate your input. We try our best to keep our waiting room area clean but unfortunately on busy (or rainy) days we can get behind. We have recently begun some improvements, (i.e. Painting and new benches) and we would like to invite you to stop by sometime (give us a couple weeks) to check it out. We do try to keep our spay and neuter prices affordable, and we accept vouchers from Jury Duty, the shelters and the humane societies as well. There are so many unwanted cats and dogs in the area that we try to do what we can to help. And lastly, yes we do want kitties in carriers (or boxes or pillow cases) for their safety. A frightened cat can become almost impossible to hold and we have had clients whose cats jumped from their arms and disappeared into the woods. Cats seem to feel more secure in small enclosed spaces and we want to keep them happy and safe! Thank you again for your comments and giving us the opportunity to improve."

It is a very friendly office. If you call and make an appointment, they are very good at taking care of you at the scheduled time. There is very little time sitting in the office. They do a very good exam on the pet. She is a compassionate doctor, she looks at your pet with a serious look. If your dog is ailing, she looks into it closely. I would recommend her to anybody.
