Upholstering
We recently had two office chairs upholstered in leather. We were told to obtain the hides and bring the chairs in to the shop and "get in line." We purchased the leather, took the chairs to the shop and were told "it'll be two weeks." After two months and one phone call, my husband stopped by to ask for an update on the project. He was told "I could get them done if you stop bothering me." After three months the chairs were ready. They originally had two rows of nails around the seats. They now have one row which is not even straight. For the price of over $1000 for the labor, and nearly three full months, I would have expected a much better outcome. I would never recommend this business.
