CHAMPION DRYWALL OF NW FL INC

I had gotten the quote from a very nice and knowledgeable salesman a long time before I actually did the job. He was great but he is no longer with the company. The owner is quite another thing to deal with. Before we got started the owner came out and looked at the job. He thought I didn't have enough ceiling sheets and too many wall sheets. He said he would like to add 7 more ceiling sheets and that if they weren't used he would credit off the amount. As far as the wall sheets he said he would rather have too many than too few so they would already be on site. It all made sense to me. The bid read like this 75 sheets at $50 for labor and 75 sheets at $10-12 for material. (the bid was more specific than what i am saying here). Then he added the 7 sheets in labor and material with written not on the estimate that if the 7 were not used he could credit them. When it was done, there were 20 completely unused sheets there. When i informed him that there were 20 sheets left, he told me that he was only crediting off the 7 sheets but he was going to pick up all 20. SO I SPENT MONEY ON 13 SHEETS THAT I DIDN'T GET TO EVEN KEEP AND HE CHARGED ME $50 LABOR ON EACH SHEET THAT WAS NEVER HUNG. DO YOU SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS? His response was that it was a flat bid and not a per sheet bid. He said that it was only written this way for detail. This man is running for politics in Santa Rosa county he said. I feel sorry for you folks over there. This man is just not honest. Then he proceeded to badger me and my mortgage company for the rest of the money before they were even finished with the job. The sheetrock hangers were too fast and not nice. They buried one of my a/c ducts in the ceiling and then cut a whole directly over the sink so the sink could be cool or warm but not the room. Also, they burried one of my wires for under the counter lighting that I had just paid the electrician for. Where they cut around the a/c return air it looks like someone took the most jagged instrument possible and cut it out. I am now having to pay a carpenter money to fix the surrounding part of that grate because it is a tremendous eye sore and almost impossible to fix. When they cut the hole above the sink I was screaming NOOOO! I thought that no was the same in English and Spanish but I guess not. The only thing this owner knows how to do is collect the money. He does not get his hands dirty at all.
