Bugmeister's did a great job removing rats from an attic with little access. With the limited access, they had to come back several times to complete the job and did so willingly without extra charges. I called them after others were not able to poison or remove the rats and Bugmeisters got the job done! I would hire again.

Tried to make contact. They made one attempt but I got busy. They never called and followed up so I guess they don't want the business. I'll never try to contact them again.

Called Bugmeister’s and left a message. Within 1 hour the owner called and scheduled an appointment within 3 business days. Appointment was scheduled for 3PM. At 215 Steve from Bugmeister called to confirm appt and was even here 5 minutes early not costing me needless vacation time. Very thorough, responsive, and detailed. Steve was very professional and look forward to further treatments from Bugmeister’s.

The owner came to my house for the quote. He saw that I have dogs and cats. He said that because of this they would have to use a poison method on the rats that don't harm dogs and cats. I was worried about rat poison and he said that it had come a long way over the years and that if my animals did get a hold of what was put in the attic then they would throw-up. He said rats and mice can't throw-up and that is why it kills them and doesn't kill dogs. THEY USED SUPER CONCENTRATED RAT POISON. The mice or rats must have taken some of it out of the attic. My smallest dog DIED. I only saved my others because the vet got me vitamin K for them. My little baby dog bleed out in my arms and didn't make it to the vet in time to be saved. She died one block before getting there. It was horrifying. This company refused to take ownership for this. They continued to claim that what they used is non-toxic to dogs and cats. I yelled that they need to come get the rest of it out of my house. I took a picture of the container and it was super concentrated anti-coagulating rat poison. On another note: Ortho home spray works better than what they used. I saw no reduction in the the outside roaches, spiders, etc here in Florida. The fogger was a joke as well, I saw no reduction in gnats or mosquitoes. There were all these little tunnels and holes in my yard and I was worried they were snakes. these people took pictures and called me 3 months later to tell me they believed it was possum. Another company came out (they work with animal control) and told me exactly where the mice and rats were coming in and what I needed to do to keep them out. They saw the holes and tunnels, also that my dogs are right on top of them and they agreed with my further research that they were not snake, but in fact molechrickets. I DIY crushed eggshell coated in raw sunflower oil. now they are gone. Who can with feel pride in their work when they work for a pest control company and they kill my dog, and don't have enough sense to know a possum can't fit in a snake or a molechricket hole. I made the mistake of trusting what I thought were professionals. My advise would be to not believe only ratings and a personable owner. Personally interviewing these companies when they come to give you your quote is a must. I believe only then do you find out what some other company should have said or done and didn't. Please don't make the mistake that I did.

Great!  Danny showed up on time and was exceptionally professional.  Worked with me to ensure I was getting into a plan that fit my budget and needs.  Seemed very honest.  Was able to use the Angie's List coupon so I got a break on the work.  Already seeing a noticeable decline in bugs!

Daniel Burmeister was very professional and gave me great advise. He really knows the business and I would recommend them to anyone with insect problems. They were more than on time they came early to get the job done. We are very happy and glad we had a professional take care of the hornets nest.

They were very professional and easy to deal with.
We were able to meet with them for the inspection the day after calling and treatment was scheduled for a couple days after that.
Everything went flawlessly with the exception of one thing...
I first tried to schedule an appointment with them via Angies List. After not getting a response for a few days, I simply called.

This company was extremely responsive and timely.  The owner took the time to explain things to me in great detail and showed up as promised.  I would highly reccomend.

I have an above grade home and wanted a termite inspection.  Dan came out, suited up, went underneath the house and crawled from one end of the house to the other in 90+ degree weather.  When he came out he told me there was no sign of current or past termite activity.  He also looked over a wooden out building and said it was fine as well.  Long story short any guy that will do all that it 90+ degree Florida weather then tell you that you don't have any problems it one honest guy!  Best 50 bucks I ever spent.  If you need a 'Bug Guy' call Dan at Household Termite and Pest Control.
