Mr Barley arived on time to give us an estimate and he was able to immediately complete the job that morning.

I called and left a message for service. He returned my call within the hour and even came over to fix the problem. He knew exactly what the problem was and had it fixed within minutes. Then asked to check the boxes in the house to make sure they were good as well. He will be my go to electrician from now on!!! Great work!

Overall this was an excelent experience.  Mr. Barley arived on time for both the estimate and the day the work was done.  He worked quickly but professionally thru the job with the help of his apprentice (his daughter!).  Total time to complete the whole job was two hours.  The original estimate was for the first three work items above, and we added item 4 (the celling fan) on the day the work was done.  The original estimite was $325.00 with a $50.00 add on for the celling fan which I thought was extremely fair because he had to complete remove the fan, install a new junction box and remount the fan.  I had never hired an electrician before, and I used his Angie's List reviews as my primary selection criteria.  I was not dissappoionted.  I recommend Mr Barley and would use him again.

Mr Barley arrived a few minutes early and went right to work trouble shooting the electrical system.  He did a great job at an extremely reasonable cost.  I actually asked him "if" he charged enough!  He replied with a smile, "It's close enough".  I have already made arrangements to use him on another project.

The job was trouble-free. Just as when he has done work for me in the past, he showed up on time, was very pleasant to work with, and completed all the repairs we asked him to promptly and professionally. He is good about working on the weekend for us, which is the only time our schedule permits. He has always returned our calls and never cancelled or been late for an appointment. I would use and recommend him again.

I did not shop around for estimates. From the many excellent reviews on Angies List I was confident in Barley Electric being able to complete my project satisfactorily. I called Keith Barley and he gave me a price for an Eaton surge protector plus installation and said he could do it the following Monday morning. At precisely 8 am Keith showed up and got to work. An hour later he was done and the work site cleaned up. He explained what to look for in the surge protector for normal operation and if it got hit. Job done. Satisfied.

Mr. Barley was on time, extremely professional and courteous.  His pricing was more than fair.  I would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him.

Mr. Barley was FANTASTIC.  He was prompt when he came for the estimate.  He had the estimate prepared the next day.  We set date and time for the work to be done and he was here at 0730 just as he said he would be.  He had to run the line from my main power box at the front of the house, through the attic, down the outside wall, underground to the building, and then wired the entire building.  He did this all in one day.  The amazing thing was, my service dog Casey was so interested in his work that to some she was in the way, but Mr. Barley just played w/ her and let her do her thing.  It was funny to watch.  The next morning he again arrived at 0730 as planned to drive the 8 ft grounding rods for the steel building. 
When he was wiring the inside of the building he asked me where I wanted the plugs for my equipment.  After the installation he explained everything he had done and asked me if I had any questions.  He then said the code had changed and he had picked up an outside light for the building to install in order to meet the upcoming code.  This was done at no extra charge.
Before he started he pulled the permit and upon completion he asked me when I would be available for the electrical inspection.  He could have just called it in irregardless of my schedule.  This was very considerate of him since my house is gated w/ a dog and it was mandatory for me to be home.  When the inspector arrived, it took him about 15 minutes to inspect due to his fascination of how well the job was done and put his stamp of approval on the job.
I am new to the Pace area and for me Barley Electric will be the  only one I will call when I need work done.

Mr. Barley did the work in two separate visits. He is polite and reasonably priced. I will call him every time I need electrical work or advice. I have used him before. He is the best.

Keith was absolutely outstanding in all respects.  Prompt, professional, and accurate in the scope of work to be performed.  He minimized the household electrical outage by close coordination with Gulf Power and the local inspector.  I was actually amazed that the work was done so quickly.  The finished product demonstrates his attention to detail and expertise.  There is no doubt that any future electrical work will be handled by Barley Electric!

Very nice gentleman. Had no problem diagnosing the problem and putting in a new breaker box. He kindly checked my smoke detector batteries. I will certainly use him again for any electrical problems. He was very prompt and did a good job.

It went perfect.  He called when he said he was going to call, he showed up when he said he was going to show up, he was friendly and explained things to me and took care of my issue in a very cost effective manner.  I will use his services again and already plan to for additional work that I would like to do that is just not an emergency.
