STEPS Lawn Services and Pest Control

The service went excellent. I've been using STEPS for a few years now and I couldn't be happier. Jason is always very responsive whenever I contact him about an issue. He's helped me get rid of many of the pests around the house since we bought it. They are dedicated to good work there and really work hard to make sure satisfaction is met. I couldn't recommend STEPS more.

This is the best exterminating company I have ever dealt with. This prompt, expert and professional company has provided nothing but excellent service and will be the only pest control company we use as long as we live in Jacksonville! They provide a FREE re-service guarantee which means at any point between scheduled service if I see a pest problem, all I do is text me technician and he shows up the next day!

Jason is the technician who comes to our home. I can't say enough about what a true professional he is. Jason is very courteous, detailed, informative and a pleasure to deal with. He always explains everything thoroughly and takes care to ensure that we don't have to worry about family and pet exposure. He is always willing to adjust his schedule to fit ours and he continues to impress with his level of customer service. We could not be more pleased with his quality of work.

I want my money refunded!

Missed three appointments, then said it would be another 3 weeks.  Offer said 48 hours, easy scheduling.  Was very eager for me to cancel, thus this was not a valid offer.

The appointment was easy to arrange.  The services were delivered exactly as described.

Wonderful! Nice, professional man who gave us lots of information to avoid pests. Crawled in our attic and everything, looking for any issues. Dug up ant nests in the yard and sprayed that too. May sound strange, but I also like the option of texting him.

It took care of 90% of the ants, they are proving to win out though. I'm sure a second and third treatment would fully take care of the situation though.

Great! I called him previously for a problem with squirrels, etc., getting into the attic/walls of my rental. He did a thorough job of keeping them out and preventing their return. I now use him for another rental for pest control. He is very attentive, follows up, will assist in anyway possible, and he cares. I have referred him to everyone I know.

Jason is knowledgable about construction and all facets of pest control. He initially noted that several tree branches were touching the home and suggested we have someone trim all trees up against the home. We did. Then he pointed out where the mice/squirrels etc could be getting in and found several areas where they could come in. He was able to put screen and a sealant on the areas which a small animal could get in, even in the attic, the basement and on the 2nd story exterior. He did it aesthetically so that it was not noticeable. It was hard work in the heat. He then coordinated a time with us when he could put poison in the attic and basement making sure that we informed the tenants not to let their dogs out. He followed up frequently with me by phone, email, and text to check on whether the tenants had any complaints. The service included other pests as well so if they had a problem he'd take care of them as well. He came back out weekly to check the bait to see whether any of it had been taken and removed the bait, and replaced it. STEPS prevents as well as treats so now we do not have a problem. (The cost of service was several hundred dollars - but worth every penny because now we don't have to worry about it).
Today he came out to treat fleas in an apt we manage. Although this was a serious problem he has worked with us to see to it that it hasnt spread to the other apts. He has educated me about what products work and why and things I can do to keep it from happening in the future. We came to the conclusion that they may be burying in the cracks of the hardwood floors. After this treatment I intend to refinish the floors since we don't believe they were ever refinished. He treated the apts, the perimeter, and the crawlspace. He is extremely conscientious and works very hard to see that customers are satisfied. He works weekends and overtime and he's never too busy to take a call or come out to check on the progress. I am very thankful I found him and am happy to refer him.
