Extremely professional! The day I called to ask for a quote they were here within the hour. They started the job at 8:30am and were finished by 1pm! They have all the proper tools to get the job done fast and efficiently! Pearson was so nice to work with as was Gage. 10/10 from us!!

It went good, as expected from prior experience with this tree service Company. certainly will have Mac's Tree Service back when again needed. Always something needs trimming or removing in our 3 acres in Jacksonville. Neighbors too will call on Mac's for help as they too are well pleased with reliable work.

We did not know who to call to cut down our huge black-jack oak tree and a few dead dogwoods. Thankfully, I mentioned wanting tree work done within earshot of our neighbor, who had hired Mac’s a couple of years ago. Excellent experience from the get-go! I called Mac’s, and Tanya said she would have someone out that day to give us a price. Pearson was prompt when arriving that evening and handed me the proposal right then. On the day we scheduled, the crew showed up on time and went to work; far exceeding my expectations with everything they touched. After an amazing show of felling limbs using a rope that allowed them to fall gracefully to the ground, they blew off our pool deck and driveway that was littered with leaves before they even arrived. Gage ground some stumps that I had planned to dig up myself. Our neighbor wanted some of our wood for his smoker, and they helped pull out prime pieces for him. I’m so pleased with their strong work ethic and manners. All said yes mam and no mam; something we don’t hear much anymore. Reminded me so much of my brother Cliff, who used to do all our tree work for us, and when I’d ask him how much we owed, he’d say, “can you make me some chicken n dumplings?” Today kind of felt like having family here and I had to remind myself to keep it professional. Speaking of price; it was very fair, and I was pleased to pay them for a job well done; not to mention all the little extras they did that showed me how much they cared that we are satisfied customers. I can confidently, and without reserve, highly recommend Mac’s Tree Service to anyone who, like us, just doesn’t know who to call. We will definitely hire Mac’s next season for our oak tree pruning.

Excellent service. This is the 4th time I’ve used Mac’s and nothing less than outstanding service. From David who provides the estimate, the ladies on the phone that does scheduling to the crew that does the job. The crew is very courteous and professional. Had to remove 2 fence panels to do the job, they were reinstalled with no issues. They always clean up the yard..... rake all the leaves and twigs plus driveway and road in front of the house. Mac’s is my go to for any tree work. Highly recommended!!!

I am so thankful that a friend of mine referred MACS Tree Service to our my family! He told me that MACS was rated as Best in Clay County, and I can see why. This is the most Professional Tree Service that I have ever had take care of my trees in my whole 52 years of life! They worked from the early morning hours until after the sun went down...and still did an outstanding clean up job! I most definitely would hire MACS tree service again,, and definitely will recommend MACS Tree Service to any friend or family member that is in need of this type of work. Hired this company to remove a tree and do some trimming on another. Ended up removing a two trees and my neighbors joined in, so they were able to get three jobs in one and they did this by being professional, courteous and having fair pricing. I was really blown away by this company they are professional! They make removing large trees seem easy, and they removed every bit of the debris. Would definitely recommend this company. LOOK NO FURTHER. THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN AND THEY TOTALLY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I purchased three foreclosure properties recently, and they needed new roofs and a whole lot of tree removal, stump grinding, and trimming etc. So, of course I did my homework and had four companies come out and give me bids for all of the work that needed to be done at all three properties. All of the companies were highly rated on Angie's list. One guy had a bid that was about $1,000 less, but he was recommending to only trim a few major branches from the MONSTER tree that was only about 10 feet away from the house. This MONSTER tree was very old, and dropping a lot of debris on the roof and I knew it was aging out, and would eventually need to be removed totally. So ultimately trimming that tree for $1,000 and then later having to remove it for $2,000 would have been a waste of $1,000. One guy who came out to bid the work was clearly insecure about his ability to do the job, and would have had to rent a bucket truck, and told me it would be my responsibility to remove the fence and reinstall it so he could get the bucket truck in place. This totally insecure guy gave me a verbal quote of $11,550, and so I told him not to bother with sending a written estimate by email. The others took up to a week to get me a written quote by email. Save yourself the hassle and just go with MAC'S TREE SERVICE, a decades old family business owned by the father, with one son out giving estimates, and the other son up in the trees. THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE WITH MAC"S TREE SERVICE. They got me the written estimate, and showed up on the designated day at about 9:00 AM at the MONSTER tree house. They had a MASSIVE amount of equipment including a bucket truck, huge stump grinder, bobcat, and dump truck with extension arm that picks up the limbs and loads them into the dump truck. There was one guy in the bucket truck, and about three or four guys on the ground operating all of the other equipment and huge ropes. They really know what they are doing when it comes to bringing down a MONSTER tree and huge branches etc. I felt totally confident watching them do their work and was totally impressed with the teamwork and efficiency with which they operate. After they finished at house number one, they moved on to the second house and repeated the same efficiency there. They were wonderful about accommodating my requests when it came to removing excess overgrowth at this property. When that was done it was on to the third house which needed the least amount of work. While they had scheduled two days, they could see that if they kept on going, they could get it all done in one day. They worked through rain showers and all, and finished up at about 7:30 PM. THEY ARE AWESOME, AND ARE NOW MY GO TO TREE GUYS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EFFICIENT FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED BUSINESS.
