Curtis was great to work with. He was able to run a cable to my back bedroom in our condso after 2 other electricians said it couldn't be done. The quality of the work was superb. I couldn't tell where he had been. The price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recomend him. He is the only my for me in Florida.

Curtis Duvall is a consummate professional, he always arrived on time, and all of his work is excellent!  Curtis has also done emergency electrical work on Sunday when our electric meter broke. I speak with absolute confidence that any electrical work you ask of Curtis Duvall Electric will be done professionally, expertly, to code, and at a reasonable price. As long as he's around I won't need to find another electrician.
Duvall electric also recommended we visit Avenues Lighting, Jacksonville FL. Because of we were using Duvall electric we receive and discount on our entire purchase.

I can not say enough nice things about Curtis and Mike. During the estimate, they explained everything in great detail, and advised us on different routes we could take to get what we wanted done. When the work was performed, several glitches happened that were unknown at the time of estimate, but Curtis and Mike worked through them all, brainstorming without complaining. They cleaned up after themselves, sweeping, and making sure that there were no peices left out anywhere. Curtis even tried to troubleshoot a light that had gone askew and was not part of the work performed. They were polite, courteous and fair priced. We definitely plan to use them again in the future.

I called Curtis on Tuesday and described our situation. Wednesday evening ( yes evening because I work) one of his electricians came by to look at the panel. On Thursday morning the panel was replaced. Friday the Jacksonville inspector came and the panel passed inspection. Both Curtis and Mike were courteous, neat, professional and I would trust them with my electic anytime.

The circuit to our office kept tripping randomly. Sometimes we were doing nothing, other times, a vacuum cleaner seemed to trip it. The problem was quite a mystery so we called Mr. Duvall.

He came out and we explained the problem. He said the most logical assumption was the vacuum cleaner causing problems, except it didn't happen every time, and sometimes happened without it. He opened all the outlets he could access and rewired them with hard connections in case the connections were causing too much resistance.

He added a second circuit breaker and started watching the power flow. While measuring it, the usage kept spiking high and inconsistently. We couldn't find any appliance that should have been using so much power, especially on a regular basis. After about a half hour of trial and error he determined it was our old laser jet printer cycling. It cycled somewhat randomly and so it was concluded that when the printer happened to be cycling at the same time the vacuum was plugged in, it would trip the circuit. Or if we were printing many pages (which happens sometimes, but not frequently).

He instructed us to unplug/replace the printer and we haven't had any problems since. I was very pleased with Mr. Duvall's work. I could have called the home warranty company, but they would have looked at it briefly, maybe done a few preventative fixes, and then call it done; and we would have still had problems.
