great crew, seamless SimpliFire 30" electric fireplace, had to customize screen feature which took an extra trip to our home. Nick was great to work with, reliable and stepped up doing exactly what was outlined in the original quote. Came out to get rid of a squirrel. He did apparently remove a squirrel, but not the one we called about because it was stuck too far down. We were told our chimney was too rusted to use, and a temporary cap was placed on the chimney. According to a second opinion our chimney is in working order, and we had the cap replaced with a working one. I'm not sure what that was about but I do really appreciate the promptness with which Chimney keeper was willing to come out and handle our squirrel problem. Not exactly worth $300 though.

We had many companies provide estimates. Chimney Keepers provided the most comprehensive approach to the repair and a great value. Communication was easy and the work was completed without complications.

My house was built in 1958 and when I bought it other than the home inspection the chimney was never cleaned. So for my peace of mind I started looking into getting it done. I found Chimney Keeper on angie's list and they had great reviews and a deal for angie's list members. I called and booked a time they called the day of and confirmed the appt and asked if they could arrive early which was not a problem. He explained the whole process and one guy got up on the roof to inspect and sweep and the other man came inside and vacuumed and cleaned the fireplace. Thankfully we got a clean bill of health no major issues and now I have piece of mind when we go to use it this year.....if it ever gets cold enough :) Would definitely would recommend and hire again.

Quick in and out. Last time the sweep took almost 3 hours. He did inspect chimney on the roof, discovered rotting wood, for which i am grateful.

Excellent! They changed a potential disaster into a gorgeous new fireplace. A simple chimney cap leak turned out to be a total chimney replacement from ground to roof. Nick coordinated the work of all the various contractors needed: exterior chimney wall, gas lines/logs, gas tanks, electric, and interior fireplace tilework. And yes, also replaced the entire leaking chimney, including a stainless steel cap (no more leaks). Great job! ...highly recommended.

Mike & Jose were very punctual & both performing the job as requested. The cost of $150 (to me) was higher than I would have liked. Although my fireplace did not require repair, Mike & Jose did provide me with insight & information into some light DIY touch ups.

They took precautions to make sure all chimney ash and debris was collected within the plastic bag that was taped around the entire fireplace opening.

Everything went smoothly. It took two weeks to have the new chase made. They called and informed us all was ready to be installed. They removed the old chase and installed the new one with no problems

Joe and Mike arrived on time, swept the chimney and confirmed to us that the flu damper and poorly fitting chimney cap needed to be replaced since water it allowed to come down into the fireplace. damaged the flu damper. They also showed how the back panel had cracked and was unsafe. We followed their recommendation to replace the back panel, flu damper and chimney cap. We could not be more pleased with their work. We no longer get cold air coming into the great room when the flu damper is closed. A great improvement. Also everything was completed on their return visit. and, just like the first visit, the room was left spotless. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them for similar chimney work.

9/20/17 - Initial inspection, including general condition of fireplace thru chimney.. Cost $150.00. And estimated 3 week wait for parts and waiting in queue for repair work. Repair cost to be $1700.00 [half down required to initiate parts orders]. 11/30/17 [approx.] - Informed by rep. that chase cover had arrived, but was subsequently damaged. New item ordered and rescheduled installation date of 12/6/17. 12/6/17 - Installers arrived, on time, with all items and installation equipment. Installation/ repair work completed in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. No issues. Very thorough and professional. crew [of three].

Chimney Keepers did an excellent job. I'm so happy I got on Angie's list to find them. They were very Professional,Friendly and Honest. That's what I look for in a Company Honesty. They only installed what My Chimney needed. Once it was finished it was beautiful. I live in another State and had another Company install a Chimney Topper. When I went to my Rental home and saw the Topper it had a black tape on it and it wasn't the correct Chimney Topper not a professional job. Thank you Chimney Keepers for being Honest and installing the correct Topper.
