Wilco Electrical Contracting Inc

Wilco provided a quote of $6,000 to replace a single exterior electrical panel. They eventually completed the job, we paid the bill in full. We called for the inspection to clear the violation. When the inspector investigated, he discovered that Wilco had not pulled a permit as required. When we applied for the permit, we were advised that we had to first obtain engineering drawings. This cost an extra $900. We called again for the final inspection and were advised that the repair did not meet code. We contacted Wilco, advised them of the situation and requested that they return to make the necessary corrections to complete the job. They never responded. Fines were mounting by the day, so in desperation, we hired and paid another contractor to remedy the improper work and complete the job.

They were totally reliable, responsible, and well educated about their work. They are the best contractor I have used in Miami. They were reasonably priced for 2 men working for two days. It was a very complicated job with a lot of work involved. Based on other electricians I have used, they were in the ballpark and everything was done right the first time. I wish they had a division for other home repairs!

Work was completed on-time, and began very quickly after agreeing to the terms. The specific electricians who completed the work (Juan and Mike) were extremely professional, courteous, and communicated well. They brought good recommendations and ideas to the job, and listened to what I wanted. They went out of their way to find creative ways to run the wiring with very little breaking into walls. They were extremely conscientious to keep their work area clean at the end of each day.
