irrigation systems
 + -1 moreAfter that, it never worked automatically. He said he put the timer at 4:00 am because that was the best time for watering the lawn, and my husband leaves for work at 5:15 am and noticed that nothing would be wet. We tested the timer at 7:00 pm and we realized that the timer controller wasn't working. We called Hurtado and he told us that he would be there the following day. He never came or called. So we called him numerous times and had other companies call him for us as well. He ignored our calls and when we'd use another phone to call him he would answer and day he was out of state but that he would be there "tomorrow". I'm still waiting for him to this date. I finally had to call another company to fix what he did and it cost me another $1,300 to fix his mess. I had a total of four other companies come for an estimate, and I used a company from Angie's List. And they were great. They replaced the broken irrigation timer controller, and fixed all his mistakes.
Description of Work: W. Hurtado gave us a proposal in writing saying that he would do the following: install 1-irrigation timer controller, 1-rain sensor mini check, 1-solenoid electrical valve, 1-K. rain zone valve, 1-kety valve, 4-pop up rotor heads, 22-pop up spray heads, put irrigation pipes and fittings, and 1-sub meter water s/e. He also said and put it in writing that everything was 100% covered. His worker did the digging by hand. They hooked up the water from the county when I have a lake behind my yard. I was told later by several other companies that it was better and cost efficient to had used the lake water instead. He only installed 19-pop up spray heads, and 2-pop up rotor heads, and the places that he placed them wet mostly my driveway and walk ways instead of the lawn. He said that he would come back and replace them, but he never did. Not only that but the whole sprinkler system didn't work from the begging. He showed us manually how the three sections would work.
