VIDEO CLEANING REPAIR

One of the Van Allens (co-owners) fully addressed and solved the issue.  I had used the shop a few years ago for a plasma tv that came with our new house.  They did a great job - I did not review since I was not an Angie's List member at the time.
Our Toshiba went intermittent last Saturday; I spoke with the owners on Monday, dropped it off that day, got a call on Tuesday advising of price and issue; and fixed on Wednesday.  Super service.
They will assist you with getting your tv through the door including having a cool automatic door.  The owner carried my tv to the car to make sure it was properly loaded.
I did some research on the particular issue and would note that authorized Toshiba repair units appear to charge twice the price these wonderful repairmen charged.
Highly, highly recommended.

UPDATE:

n my prior review, I extolled the excellence of service.  Unfortunately, the Toshiba only lasted a day before going blank.  I brought the beast back to the shop and one of the owners who serviced the unit said that he was afraid that it might have been a bigger problem, specifically the lcd matrix.  He said he needed to open it up.  I asked about cost/benefit.  He responded, it's a great tv great picture, it's worth the look.  Later that afternoon, he called and pronounced the beast was too far gone and that they would refund my money for the prior repair.  I assumed just the cost of labor would be refunded which is incredible in and of itself.  But to my surprise, the company refunded both labor and the cost of the part.
Ladies and Gentlemen, they don't teach that in business school!  These guys are incredibly honest and stand by their word. If you ever have an issue with your tv, let them look at it before dropping $$ on a new one.

Cliff was very professional and friendly, easy to talk to as he explained what needed to be done.  I felt the prices were very reasonable and repairs were done in a timely manner even with waiting for a part to be delivered. I absolutely recommend this company and would use them again.

They are very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done so the machines would work properly again.  The machines are now working again and I will continue to bring in any other TVs or recording devices that may be in need of repair. I would highly recommend Video Cleaning Repair.

The man was extremely thorough and explained everything extremely well. He was very honest and told me what I needed to do. I ended up giving him the tv and he will give a credit the next time I go in there.

We got them from Angie's List. They came out and picked up the flat screen TV and took it to the shop. They ran test, fixed it and brought it back. They were very good and I have not had trouble with it since. I would use them again.

Definitely recommend !!!! I felt secure and was welcomed respectfully. Everything was explained clearly and the price was fair. I had 4 DVD 's stuck in my in Tv's in built DVD player. Will count on them for future needs and will recommend!

Went fine. Easy to deal with. Up front with prices. Very presentable. Sent 2 people to handle TV -- so I didn't have to help or worry that they would drop it. $50 for pick up and delivery. I'd use them again.

Ed was super friendly and said he would take a look.
He turned the TV around and looked at the screen under the light - this way and that.
Then he said he was sorry, but that the TV screen was broken - and that it would not be cost effective
to fix it. He showed us the break lines in the screen that were evidence of the break when the TV fell off the table.
After discussing our needs, he recommended places to shop and features to look for. He suggested a price range
for us as well.
He couldn't have been nicer. We went and bought a very reasonably priced replacement TV.

I dropped off the unit and paid the initial quote fee that I had been advised of by phone. One or two days later, I received a call that my unit was repaired and ready to pick up. It works great. I am very pleased.

TV was too big for us to bring in. They showed up on schedule to pick it up. We waited a few days then called to get their opinion of the problem and the cost to fix it. The part was ordered from out of state. When it arrived, it solved the problem. The final cost was the same as the estimate. I had to postpone the delivery date/time we had set up, and they were very flexible in re-scheduling. It's been working fine, even better, ever since.

They were outstanding. I took in a few TV's for repair. Two of them were repaired at a reasonable price and one did not need repaired and I was not charged for that.

Two gentlemen showed up right on time and were extremely nice and took a good amount of time to check up the entire system as well as the function of the remote controls and a master remote I have. After trying several changes in the way the system was set up, within about 15 minutes were able to find the problem, which was a cable related to the remote system and with a little hot glue, were able to get it working right away. I was very, very satisfied with the service and their ability to come over so fast since I depend on the video system for all my entertainment.
For the price quoted over the phone as a service fee, they assured me it would be repaired and it was the lowest price I had been quoted. In the past, I had to pay anywhere from $150 to $200 for the visit and having to check the entire system. I will be very happy to refer this company and its technicians to anyone.

I brought in a 18 month old 47 inch LG flat screen TV that was cycling (turning itself off and on repeatedly every ten seconds). After testing it for a week, they said that it was working in their shop without any problems. They said that they could not fix it when it was working properly but to bring it back if the problem occurred again. It has not. They charged me nothing.

When I went to the shop they were very friendly and professional. They required a $50.00 deposit which would be applied to the repair, If I decided not to do the job that would be the cost of the estimate. I was told that once they knew what was wrong they would call with an estimate of work required and the cost. This happened after approximately three days. I decided to go ahead with the repair. They were very friendly, informative and helpful.
