The fact that Mike Vega was late in showing up or that I think he was pricey, is not the reason for my D grade. The reason for me D grade is his insistence in seeing my drivers license for him to accept my check. He did work at my house so he knows where I live. I have had 20 K$+ jobs done at my house, paid with personal checks and never once did I have to show my Drivers License.......must be because they were smart people who knew that they could get a hold of me if something happened since the job site was at my residence.
In this day and age of identity theft, it is stupid to hand out your private info for stupidity sake and that is what Mr Vega exhibited; that and a complete lack of good customer relationship which has cost him at least one customer. I will never use him again and I believe that with all the good master plumbers around, it would be stupid for any one to use his company.

Very responsive and helpful. All work done as explained and in a very satisfactory manner.

The only thing was that they put a new part that my pump did not have before, and it made it work bad, so I had to call two more days to fix it. They came and did a good job but at the end they had to take out the new part, and they did not gave me my money back for this.

Vega called me to tell me they were running late, which I appreciated. It is a father and son team. They clean up after themselves and follow through. They are honest and reliability is just there with them, which is usually rare in this area. I think they are very good.

Setting up the job was extremely pleasant with the woman who answered the phone. Paul (the son) did the whole job himself. He also is an extremely pleasant person, and he did an excellent job. When we used the bathrooms later, I noticed he had removed the paint that had spilled on the tiles from a previous paint job, and had removed all the rust stains on the floor in each bathroom from the slow leaks. I must be honest. The $500 for the work would have been more like $800 if Paul and my friend's son were not friends from high school. I base this on Paul telling me they normally charged $135 for each toilet, and we paid $80, but $800 to $850 was still less than an estimate from another plumber. We were very pleased.

This company was recommended by a friend. When I called, the receptionist was very friendly and immediately set me up with a time for the following day. I was given a two-hour window of 8-10am and Mark arrived shortly before 10 a.m. He introduced himself and had me show him all the problems. Then he got right to work. Said he might need to go out for a part, but he had it on the truck. Finished in the time he had estimated, but said the laundry room stoppage was due to a problem in the pipes under the floor and gave me an estimate for that repair. The best part, he cleaned up after himself and was very polite.
