Get a written estimate before the project begins. I was quoted one price to fix a closet door. I thought any and all work to be done on the door would be included in the price. He proceeded to do the work and it seems like every little thing he did to the door was like a license to paid the bill. He gave me a hand written invoice after the fact, without letting me know that any "extras" would be added to the bill.

My experience was disaster. This company is not to be trusted. They gave me an extimate and charged $240 more with an excuse that he had to paint the entire ceiling. His extimate was to repair a section of the ceiling and pain the ceiling. At the end, he claimed that he had to paint the entire ceiling meaning that his estimate was to paint only a portion of the ceiling. Secondly, he replaced a small smoke detector that can be purchased from a hardware for under $10 plus a size C battery and charged $75 where he claim the difference was for the labor. He intended to rip me off and had the nerve to ask me to give him a good rating. I would not trust this company for anything.
