Tuttles did an excellent job. You cannot tell where the wall was removed because the new bullnose tile blended in with the original. They cleaned up all the debris from the job. Sean was very professional and quickly took care of removing the wall when it was left out of the initial job proposal due to a misunderstanding. Tammy works in the office and was extremely helpful in getting the job scheduled and handling the payments. I hope they are still around when the pool needs to be refinished in another decade.

We were very pleased with all of Tuttle's Pools work. They were very easy to deal with and they were very patient in answering our questions. They did a very nice job in updating and refinishing our pool. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. The office staff was very helpful and courteous. We highly recommend Tuttle Pools.

- Mr. Tuttle was punctual and showed up at the appointment time
- He had t return several times because new problems kept coming up - After each visit he communicated with me the progress of his work and the date he was going to return (This is unheard of from a contractor in Miami)
- He was professional, courteous and each day left the job site clean.
- I have used them before for pump replacement and other pool related jobs and I will certainly use them again

I was losing about 5 inches of water a day from the pool and the leak wasn't obvious as to location. The salesman came out, we talked and he taught me things about my pool that I hadn't a clue. He listened to all my concerns and what I wanted him and his company to do for me. In a few day, I had the quote in the mail. I called the company and told them we were going on vacation that next week and if at all possible, could they put my job on the schedule for before we leave.
Because of my request, they came the following day and pressure tested all the pool piping, found and fixed my leak, replaced all my ball valves and 3-way valves in both the pool and spa header. They replaced all my spa aerator nozzles and adjusters and replaced all the pool eyeball diverters. Finally, they acid washed the pool before refilling. Couldn't be happier with their service, and workmanship. The pool tech that came out was equally informative and marked every valve with its description and arrows indicating flow and direction. This is a new house for me and so this instruction on the pool and its piping was invaluable. Great bunch of guys, for sure. I thought the price was very in line with everything they did. They got on it and didn't finish until the job was complete. Nice work! Definitely would recommend them to friends.

We went with Tuttles because they did the renovation the last time, 25 years ago, and the marcite surface survived all this time. Also, it's a family business so there's continuity. Because we both work during their office hours an office manager met us on a Saturday to pick out the coping, tile, etc., which we really appreciated. The start of the job was abrupt though as they gave us a ballpark time and then showed up to do the work with only a half hour notice on the day of arrival. Had we known we definitely would have covered the furniture on the patio.
It all went pretty well through the majority (96%) of the job - the workers made an effort to clean up and progress was good. In the end there was a little tiny problem that took them 5 min to fix and took me 5 phone calls to get them there to do it so that wasn't so great. Also we were kind of left hanging on the installation of the new light: we let them know we had contacted the electrician we were going to use when we went to pick out the tile (they recommended him) and then he wasn't called in time or didn't come in time (not sure which) to keep things moving along. They could finish most of the work anyway, we just couldn't fill the pool until he installed the light. I'm not sure if it is too much to expect that things go off without a hitch or two - probably it is. I'm also not sure about the price either - we did get a cheaper estimate from a good company but it is difficult to make comparisons as there are a lot of variables like tile and light upgrades. The final cost (electrical services was separate) seems fair.
I would use them again. The pool looks great and we are hoping for another 25 on this surface. All the staff, regardless of their position in the company, were pleasant and respectful when you called in. That was appreciated as I never felt like I couldn't call and ask for help with the problems or in getting answers to my questions.

Tuttle Pool refinished my pool with Diamond Brite, replaced the tile at the water line, re-grouted the existing coping, and replaced the
pool light. The pool did not have to be sandblasted to remove the previous finish. At their recommendation, we added a
tile border on each step leading into the pool. The work was performed in June 2012 and looks great.
I solicited two proposals for the work. In addition to a competitive price, I selected Tuttle because all of the work is performed by Tuttle employees. Most pool contractors subcontract the various stages of the work. Although the pool contractor manages the process, you still have to be concern that the sub-contractor shows up when promised. That was not the case with Tuttle.
I also received three references from Tuttle for people who had their pool refinished recently. I called two of the references who were very satisfied with the work Tuttle had performed. I also got Certificates of Insurance from Tuttle for workers comp and general liability before the job started.
The project took seven days to complete. The only issue we had was not with Tuttle but with their tile supplier. The supplier
had promised the tile were ordered was in transit but when the shipment was received, the tile we ordered was not included. We
then learned that it could take several months before the supplier would receive the tile we wanted. We did not want to delay the project so we selected a different tile the supplier had in stock.
I am very satisfied with the work Tuttle did. It was done in the time promised and in a professional manner. I would recommend
that anyone refinishing their pool consider using Tuttle.
Tuttle gave us the necessary instructions for maintaining the pool after the job was completed. You have to brush the pool twice a day for the first two weeks. And it takes about six weeks to get the pH and chlorine levels stable. You will use a lot of acid over the first six weeks. After that period, I have not had any problem keeping the pool water balanced.

Overall, Tuttle's Pool Service did an excellent and professional repair. I called on a Friday and the lady at the office was quite polite and said they would get back to me by Monday. However, I did not hear back till Teusday, but that was OK with me as this was not an emergency repair. Lucas was the service person who arrived promptly on time with an assistant. He identified the problem immediately, checked for leaks and did find a small leak at the connection of the pump impeller housing and the PVC pipe that connected to it. He was able to repair the system on the spot as he had a new electric motor on the truck. He discovered that the old motor had been installed incorrectly with a seal that was not correct. This allowed water to seep thru the seal and corrode the motor. He was extremely professional and courteous, explaining what the problem had been. He clearly knew his business and was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this service provider to anyone needing a pool repair. The cost was reasonable and while not cheap, was very much as I expected. It is getting harder to find professional service providers in Dade County that know what they are doing and Tuttle's is one of them! I will be calling them in the future for all my pool repairs.

They come every Friday. Compared to other pool services they do a little better job cleaning the pool. Their reliability is above average; they show up when other companies don't. I will use them again in the future.

The workmen arrived as scheduled. The did the cutting and drilling into our deck just enough to properly locate the leaking pipe. They fixed the pipe, did a pressure test and then sealed the deck. Mark from Tuttles then sent men that did a cosmetic fix on the part they had to cut out to access the leak. We were very satisfied with their professional manner, the way Mark explained what they had to do and we're happy with the fact that the pool seems to be fine now. We would be more than happy to recommend this company to any of our friends!

Wonderful! I am exteremely pleased with all aspects on the services provided by Mark Tuttle and his team. He was very professional and completed the work very quickly. As a first time pool owner I knew something might be wrong with my pool but I did not have any clue about repairing the problem. He provided me with a free estimate and did not attempt to sell me any unnecessary services, just what I needed to get my pool back up to speed and working properly. He was courteous and took the time to explain my pool machinery and even labled my equipment so I could understand the functions of each piece of equipment. I will recommend this company to anybody who ever asks me for a pool repair company. They also design and build pools and I would recommend them for this service based on my experience with their repair services. Plus, he is a 4th generation native Miamian and is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Pinecrest/Palmetto Bay area.
