Excellent service. The serviceman Always reminds me to keep the dogs in the house for two to three hours, if there is any problem in the yard he provides the proper treatment to make sure the lawn gets the treatment it needs. He always locks the gate And and he leaves the lawn in good shape.

They sprayed powder in house and liquid chemicals outside house a couple of times. It helped with roaches but not the spiders. Tech said they would wipe down spider webs I told them I wasn't paying them to wipe down spider webs but to get ride of them. Tech said that is all they could do. Very unprofessional and scheduled visits weren't on time and office kept calling to schedule visit when the tech had already been there.

Initial quote I met the Truly Nolen sales rep Ronald at my home and he was very friendly and patient with all of my questions. He gave me a quote for $1,500 to fumigate my 2,600 sq. ft home, which I felt was a good deal. I expressed my interest in a weekend fumigation date which he was able to provide a month out. I also mentioned that I’d be interested in purchasing the seasonal maintenance plan after the fumigation was complete. Day before Fumigation The day before the fumigation was set to begin Ronald came by the house to help with final preparations and answer any questions. We walked the perimeter of the house and he helped me cut down tree branches that would have impeded the pathway of the tent. He even helped me move a heavy freezer chest to the backyard which I appreciated. Fumigation date Unfortunately, this is where the ‘less than positive’ part of our experience starts. The crew canceled my fumigation hours before it was set to begin, citing some non-specific emergency they had to tend to at another location. This was disappointing considering my elderly parents and I had packed away boxes outside of the house, already paid for 3 days of dog sitting services as well as made the 2 hour round trip journey to drop the dog off in Broward county, and pre-made plans for lodging. When I asked for the next available weekend date they gave me another month out. Instead of the hassle of going thru all this again and waiting another month I bit the bullet and agreed to a weekday date 5 days later. It was an uncomfortable 5 day wait considering me and my parents had everything remaining in boxes. Although I was already out of pocket close to $100 just for the dog sitting I asked the company for at least $50 credit towards my bill. Yolanda and Ronald told me that instead they would give me an “overnight fumigation” at no additional charge, which I was told is usually an extra expense. Because of this I was told they could not give me any credit on the fumigation other than $50 credit towards purchase of their seasonal maintenance service, which I begrudgingly accepted. Second fumigation date We left the house and the house was tented as normal. We were repeatedly told that not only would the house be cleared to move back in no later than 9pm the following night but that also the vikane gas would leave zero odor by move-in time. On move-in day 8:30pm came around and we still didn’t receive any notification from Ronald nor Yolanda (the crew dispatcher) all day long. I got worried considering it was already late at night and my family was anxiously waiting to move back in. I texted Ron asking for a status and he responded that the crew chief would be onsite to clear within the next hour and he’d let me know a final answer soon. I showed up at the house anyways at 8:45pm and realized a noticeable smell coming from all around the perimeter of the home. It smelled like a gas which concerned me considering i was told repeatedly that the house would be odorless by move in time. I decided not to move my family back in that night. I also did not want to wait up to an hour at my house for the crew chief to arrive. So I left and waited for a final answer from Ron. Midnight came around and I still hadn’t received a final text from Ron. I texted him asking why no one bothered to give me a status. He said that he misunderstood and thought I was going to meet the crew chief anyways. I responded that I smelled an odor coming from the house and didn’t feel comfortable moving my family back in. He did not respond to my specific concern about the odor at all and instead said “I am sure that everything went well as per the crew chief”. The next morning my family moved back in because we noticed the smell had finally gone from the house. The whole point of an overnight fumigation seemed like a waste of time to me. Two weeks later The final bill arrived in the mail. By this time I decided I did not want to purchase any additional maintenance services from Truly Nolen and I asked Ron for the $50 credit to instead be applied to my main fumigation bill considering the inconvenience of both my initial fumigation getting cancelled and the fact that the odor from the house didn’t give me any confidence in moving back in on the day promised. He finally responded to my concern about the odor and he said it may have just been a dead animal. I said it did not smell like an animal and it was very much a gas. I insisted that I deserved some kind of credit and he said “that’s not how it works” and advised me to contact the regional manager. I spoke with the regional manager for Miami, Yadnier. I explained to him that between the cancelled fumigation appointment and the odor preventing me from moving back in that I felt I should get some kind of credit for all this inconvenience and personal expense. He did not address my specific concerns but instead immediately paraphrased some legal verbage from my contract that basically said they are not responsible for keeping to their proposed deadline due to the nature of their work and many variables. This generic answer did not make any sense so I clarified that although the crew chief cleared the house at some point that night I took it upon myself to not move my family back into the house because of the strong odor, and yet despite the odor the crew chief cleared the house anyways to move back in. I explained that the odor was contrary to everything I was told would NOT happen upon move in time. He then said that the odor could have been some spray that the crew used outside of the house. I told him that I was not told at any point in this process to expect a lingering smell and that is why I didn’t move in. He was not very sympathetic and so I thanked him for his time and moved on. In the end, this experience with Truly Nolen had its positives and its negatives. I tried to write this review as objectively as possible. If I can give any final advice to Truly Nolen it is to improve their communication with their customer after the point of sale. Although my initial point of contact started with the sales person Ronald, once the (cancelled) fumigation date came around I felt three people were now involved : Ronald, the crew chief, and Yolanda (the dispatcher) and communication stalled. I felt I had to be the one to initiate contact several times to get information, status updates or confirm appointments.

Over 12 years ago Truly Nolan sold me on injecting my house for termites instead of tenting. I have been paying for extended warranty for over 12 years that guaranteed me against termites and free inspection yearly. Every year they came out for inspection when WE called them. They never came out without me calling them. Every year we had termites that WE found before calling them and they injected the wood for termites. I found out now that the injection of the chemicals they say they use is a rip off. The injection does not work and proof is that I had termites every year. I was just putting a new roof on my house and the first day they took the tar paper off the roof. They found live termites in the plywood and rafters. They were swarming in this area. I have been advised by several professional companies now you MUST go into the attic to inspect for termites. In over 12 years I found out they NEVER went into the attic or opened the attic door to check. They walked around the house and you can not find termites in the rafters or plywood without going into the attic. I called them right away when I found out about the termites. As I needed someone out by the next day to see these termites. I have been paying for over 12 years a warranty and I expected quick service considering the urgency. I could not put the tile on the roof until the house was tented. When I called Truly Nolan and explained the problem. The Gentlemen on the phone said he understood my problem. He said let me see how quick I can get someone out to you. He said he could have someone out there in little over a week. I said that is not acceptable. As I am will stopped on the work on my roof till I get this inspected and tented. He said he would have someone call me right away and see what they could do to rush a inspection. It has been 3 weeks and still no one has called. I have since tented my house with another company. Truly Nolan is too big of a company and their inspectors are not trained properly. Every year we had a new inspector when we called for inspection.

I set-up an appointment two weeks ago from 9:00am to 11:00 am. It was confirmed. By 10:00 am as no-one had showed up I called the office who said that they are contacting the inspector and will call me back. they never did. Today I had another appointment set up from 10:00am to 12:00. I checked again yesterday with the office who confirmed again the appointment. At 11:30am still no inspector. I called the office again, then the corporate office. No one can reach the inspector.... I am finished with Truly Nolen
