No, Sam at Sunshine awnings NEVER kept his appointment.

First and foremost, the salesman that came to our house to sell us the Pergola was very unprofessional. My husband was not home, and he made me very uncomfortable telling me how beautiful I was, etc., etc. I should have thrown him out of the house at that point. We recently lost our Awning during the hurricane in September 2017, and this was the only company that could (at least that is what I was told) install immediately. The awning that we needed replaced stopped water from coming into out house. The gentlemen sold me on a Pergola. After the sales visit and giving the deposit, he kept calling me for NON RELATED business purposes. He even asked to come over to my house to say hello because he was in the neighborhood. I immediately called the owner and he said he would speak to him. I was in SHOCK that he did not fire him. The owner's reasoning for not firing him is because he was his top salesman. No option for refunds were given. The owner said he would make sure that the salesman would never bother me again and that he would do anything to fix the situation. Well, weeks, and weeks, and weeks passed by and I couldn't get an appointment for installation. Once they installation was done, I called the owner and told him the measurements were wrong. The Pergola did not extend as far as I requested. I needed it to extend as far out as the awning we lost (see attached picture). He was not willing to fix it. So, now when it rains, the water pours into the foundation of my deck causing the deck to crack. Additionally, there are wholes in the Pergola which is causing additional leaking and damage. Not only did I feel violated, but the owner did not do anything to rectify the matter and has not returned my calls regarding the Pergola's improper installation and the leaks occurring. If anyone has any ideas on how to get this situation fixed, i'm open for suggestions.

Company is excellent! Owner fermin is professional, reliable, honest and easy to contact. The workers were also professional. The work and quality of the product are excellent. I got the replacement during the time frame i had been told, in spite of the fact that they were overwhelmed w orders
