My experience with this company is probably THE WORST service I have ever received (NO KIDDING). I joined Angie's List just to write this review.
My husband found this company through Craigslist?s. The initial conversation my husband expressed our biggest concern, which is having audio through our cameras and Mr. Henry Tarrios (owner) said "no problem I will throw in audio at no additional cost". We were happy to finally find someone who seemed reasonable, explained everything and in fact will get the job done next day. The next day Mr. Tarrios and his helper arrive at 12:45 p.m., they installed the cameras everything seemed smooth and perfect until the
networking.
Apparently, our home is a "dead zone" for Wi-Fi and they were having trouble getting the cameras connected to our Wi-Fi, he offer to try several options, but he mentioned the last option would cost an additional $100 (running a cable directly from our DVR (2nd floor) to our Wi-Fi modem downstairs). Neither my husband nor I were satisfied with having to add more cost, but we had no choice, it was the ONLY option left. Ok... So you would think if someone comes to do a job they would finish the same day, right? Wrong! That?s where the entire headache starts.
At 5:30 p.m., they seemed to be frustrated and it was getting too late so Mr. Tarrios suggested either the day after (Friday) because he was caught up the next day. Granted I was ok with waiting an additional day, mind you I already paid him in full for a job that was NOT completed. Thursday, I communicated with him and asked what time will he be there on Friday, he said at 12. Friday comes around and its 1:30 p.m., I called several times, no answer. Finally, around 2:15 he called back and said his "technician" will be here at 6:00 p.m., at this point I am upset because I wasted a whole day waiting. 6:00 p.m. comes, no one is still here. I start calling, no answer. An hour later he answers and says his "technician" is still at another job and can't make it.
First off, your technician is still doing a job at 7 p.m., but could not finish mines, which was at 5:30??? I felt there was preference issue and second of all it?s 7 p.m., I wasted a whole day waiting to only find out, it was not going to be today. I expressed myself that this was unprofessional and needed my job to be finished today, he said I will call you back and let you know, guess what? He
never called.
Finally, Saturday he sends someone to run the cable. At the end of the job I told the guy I still don't have access to view and he tried to connect me, but couldn?t. He said I am sorry but I am a sub contractor to Henry and I did not do this job, therefore, I will have to charge you additional to install onto the computers and cellphones. I start calling Henry and no answer; he actually turned off his phone. I told the guy I am sorry but I am not going to pay you for this job because this job is not complete and technically my contract was with Henry, not you and he needs to show face and finish this job.
Henry failed to give me a walk through of how to use the system, my computer doesn't even have the software installed and the overall experience has been BAD. I spoke with Henry later that night and I told him that my computer needs to have this installed and if he could come the following day since he offered to pass by anyways, Sunday NO ANSWER AGAIN! I gave up at that point. A week later he sends a text trying to collect $60, really? He has not even finished a job and you want to collect $60? This guy is really a piece work.
It?s been almost a month and we are still waiting to install the software onto my computer. He continues to say he has sent it by email (2 email addresses provided) and still nothing. We never received a proper walk through or how to even do certain things. I have had to google our DVR model just to get the manual. We have no access to audio because apparently we need a monitor and an HDMI cable, something that could have been said on March 25, not 2 weeks later through a phone call.
The honest truth about this company is that they do not appreciate certain clients. This is a money making company, so if your job does not exceed $1,000, do not expect to receive a proper professional treatment. As of today, we are still in the limbo with only access through our cellphones. I definitely, DO NOT recommend this company; you are better off finding a legit registered corporation and/or a company who stands behind their word. For the type of service we received, we were better off installing the cameras ourselves because now we find our self stuck with these cameras and no technical support.
This is probably one the most honest and helpful reviews you will see about this company. This review is a highlight of events, it is sad to say but there are more details to this review. Oh yeah 1 last thing to throw in, they actually use YouTube for tutorials, how reliable is that??? PLEASE JUST STAY AWAY!!!
P.S.: He said in the beginning he will give us a 1 year free subscription to Angie?s list in return for a good review, we are still waiting for that too. But, of course he will not do that because he knows we are far from happy customers.
