The initial experience was satisfactory. The wood work was very nicely done. The owner was professional and tried to accommodate our needs. Their staff was a bit rash at times. He has an installer - his name Sadi - that tried to start a physical fight with me once when I called him out on leaving early from the job site. Roberto the owner once asked me to call this installer to discuss a flaw on the job. On that phone call the installer proceeded to insult me over the phone. That was my initial experience with Santos Furniture. A few years after the woodwork was installed my wife and I started noticing some small hard dust around the cabinets. We later learned that the wood had termites. We had treated the property for termites before the installation of this wood work. I discussed the matter with a termite exterminator and he indeed confirmed that this type of termite could have been dormant in the wood. After a period of time the termites began to surface while eating away the cabinetry wood from the inside out. As a result I have termites all over the house and have to tent my property. Upon requesting remedy from Santos Furniture they made an initial visit inspected the damage and said they would get back to me. On follow up I wasn't able to get a hold of the owner (Roberto Santos), his brother and the company's phone was disconnected. I became a member of Angie's List, since I saw that Santos Furniture was a member. I felt compelled to inform the Angie's List members of my experience. Thank you.
