Electrical Service
I was told by the Third-Party, Freightquote, that scheduled the pickup, that it would cost $280. (Freightquote is the the third party that schedules all of my freight pickups) I was then charged $445.94. SAIA said that the weight was off.
There is no way the weight was off. This was a small pallet with a weight of 282 pounds. SAIA claims the weight was 630 pounds.
The breakdown is as follows:
WEIGHT per 12 oz box = 15 pounds 12 boxes x 15 = 180 pounds
WEIGHT PER 4 oz boxes = 6 pounds 12 boxes x 6 = 72 pounds
Weight Small Pallet = 30 pounds
TOTAL WEIGHT: 282 POUNDS
SAIA more than doubled the weight. THIS IS A LIE. Caveat Emptor! (BUYER BEWARE! )
