Was a little pricy but he did a good job. I would use him again.

Unfortunately, the job turned sour.  We know the owner Tom. He had done previous repairs that went well and were done to Tom's usual high quality standards. Indeed, I'd written an "A" review on Angie's List back in 2013 for Round Tuit.  However, this time was a real bust. His assistant took all day to install a prefab sink cabinet kit that involved no plumbing, just attaching hoses to connectors and some minor hammering and screws. Yet, the install involved multiple trips to the hardware store to get the correct extenders and a lengthy absence for lord-knows-what. The next day started poorly with a misunderstanding of the work requested; the assistant promptly left. But most problematic was that the cost of the job when it was completed was EXTRAORDINARY! I had always trusted Tom for an honest price and quality work, so I had made the huge mistake (it turns out) of neglecting to get an estimate for this job. For example: Round Tuit charged ~$700 to install the prefab Home Depot sink, involving no plumbing and only minor cabinetry (adding a 3" base)!! Round Tuit's total cost for these minor repairs was astronomical compared to recent bids for similar repairs I've since needed. Caveat emptor!

Great service.  Punctual, did what they promised.  Kept premises clean, no nails, etc.  Job was done in a timely fashion.

One of the features of our new house is a set of three arches just outside the front door. While they were somewhat interesting, the same design is common in our community, and we wanted to make them really pop. We hired Tom at Round Tuit to build a set of swinging double doors for the center arch that would give the place a rustic, hacienda type look. The finished project far exceeded our expectations! The only word that can describe the new look is WOW! The work was done within the estimate and time frame, service and communication was great. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I have used Round Tuit before this, but not for this big of a job.  Tom Gerrish, the owner, came to my house promptly when
I called him and obtained the door for the time period in which I wanted it.  Tom's son, John, installed the door by himself in
4 hours.  He used my existing knobs and locks which were inserted into the new door.  He hooked up the alarm connection
for the door.  He managed to retain the inside trim of the existing door around the frame that comes with the door.  The door
and frame and trim now need to be painted, which I knew would be the case.   He did not make much mess.  John is not
only highly competent but also friendly.   Tom's nephew Scott also does a lot of their work.   I don't know how the price
would compare to others and I don't care.  The quality and professionalism are worth more to me than saving some amount
of money - which probably would not be all the much of a savings.  Highly recommended.

This family business is well run and always honest and friendly. If they cannot do the work, they will be honest and refer the work out. I have used these guys for years and they are an institution in the Grove and South Miami. Highly recommended!!

They do superior work. I've used them for many years and overall they are just excellent. I've never been disappointed.

Seamless in all instances. Very reliable. Very honest. Can trust Tom and his workers in our home even if we're not around.

Round Tuit was very responsive in obtaining the building permit for the front door, bedroom windows and carpentry work and completed the work within three days. They arrived at the agreed upon time each day and worked a full day to complete the work. At the end of each and every day, they cleaned up the work area within my house and were always professional and courteous. I was looking for a carpenter that I could trust for multiple projects around my house and I am very happy that I found Round Tuit. I will be hiring this company again.

They are two young men that are skilled. I've only used them once. Scott is very good working with wood and they fixed my dock. He comes in on time, he assesses the problem, goes away then comes back and does the whole thing in about an hour and a half. He had to get in the water even. It was just an overall good experience.
